After the disappointment with the gold pin heads from the same brand, I was even more disappointed with these. The wire was very flimsy, as you can see, several pin heads are bent. For the kind of art I do, I need straight pin heads. Furthermore, the head point themselves are smaller than other brands I've used, even with my smallest bead, the wire passes through the bead completely.

I was looking for jewelry pins that weren't sterling silver, as I've noticed they tarnish super quickly. These are stainless and went perfectly with my project! They weren't difficult to shape or trim, which I had anticipated with them being stainless steel, and hang well. They don't curl as tightly as sterling silver but that wasn't an issue. Also cheaper than my local craft store, and better quality!

Only a few arrived bent and I've been able to straighten them out. I measured them with my wire gauge and they are 22 Ga.. I was hoping they would be 23 or even 24 but I can still use them. I gave them a 3 for "Easy to use because stainless wire just is not easy to use. However it has other qualities.

Es gibt nicht viel darüber zu sagen, sicherlich sind manche Stifte verbogen aber auch beim herstellen von Schmuck verbiegt sich mal was.Ganz einfach mit Zange wieder gerade zu biegen!

So, first, I have to say these are around 24 gauge -- perhaps 22 gauge depending on your caliper and such but I knew that going in. They worked fine for my beading. I didn't have many issues with too many being bent, and for the price, I was definitely happy go get so many.I can say I tried to use a few on some simple clay pendants and they seemed a little soft so I hammered my loops to make them stronger. I would go up to about a 20 G if you need them for pendants instead of just simple beads. The curve foot didn't bother me -- I knew that going in and it's actually preferable when I insert it into a clay bead before baking and curing. It seems to help stabilize the bead after it's done and then I can loop and hammer.Overall, would buy again, but would like more gauge options for other projects as far as Amazon availability. Their website has much more of a selection but.. PRIME! haha.

I waited until I was mostly done using these to review and I think they are just okay. There were only a handful of straight pins. The bulk were curved and needed to be handled a bit before using. About 20% of the bag was not usable because they were bent so bad and in multiple places I couldn't coax them straight. Ok for fun at home projects but not for business.

I purchased these stainless steel headpins to use in making crystal drops for bangle bracelets and for earrings. The headpins were delivered very quickly and were packaged securely and arrived without damage. The stainless steel was very good quality and I was able to manipulate them easily to wire wrap them into drops and earring components. I was a bit worried that the stainless would be too hard to bend and secure, but that was not the case. The gauge/thickness of these headpins made it easy to bend and wrap them while making jewelry. Since stainless steel is stronger than other types of metal headpins and also will not tarnish, I will be replacing all other metal components with stainless steel going forward. I recommend these 2 inch 304 Stainless Steel Headpins for all DIY jewelry projects. I will be purchasing many more.
