Whether you're into calligraphy or sumi-e, this brush and stand set is really lovely. Stand assembled easily and is sturdy. All 5 brushes are medium-high quality, will retain a point if you wash them properly then shape the point before hanging to dry. The little water bowl and "mountain" pen holder are lovely. Overall, I love this set for turning my hobby into what feels like a fancy ritual.
