I've switched all my spinning reels over to Pfluger President models in sizes 30, 35, and now 40.They are smooth, sturdy, and dependable. Great value as opposed to other brand names.

The price was great. Extreme quality. Pflueger is a very old company and they know how to make quality fishing reels. Drag is very smooth also and it casts really well.

It’s a little on the pricey side but well worth the money., it’s smooth and cast like a dream., threw it on a 7’6 Mags custom bass rod and it looks sweet

This is my 3rd Pflueger reel and its not because the others broke. I have a 20 and 25 for crappie fishing and figured I can use a bigger one just in case. The reel is reliable and super smooth. I highly recommend these reels.

I ordered the size 20. The reel is very smooth. The bail closes effortlessly. No play on the spool. No backwards play nice anti reverse. Just know it's a small reel. The kobe for the drag is very small. I have big hands. "2xl gloves" but I don't mind the small reel.Nice reel if ya looking for a ultralight reel.

I recently picked up the Pflueger President 20 size reel for my ice fishing adventures, specifically targeting perch with an ultra-light setup. This reel is much smaller than a normal 2500 size reel but this reel is amazing. Smooth as butter. I wish I had bought two for the price I paid I fit 150 yards of 8lb braid on this little beast.

After reading rave reviews on multiple websites, I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I'll tell you what... I'm glad I did. I went with the 25 over the 20 for the additional line capacity. I threw it on a 7' Ultralight TFO Trout Panfish Rod with 10lb braid, and HOLY MOLY is this an awesome reel!! Obviously I'm using it for Trout, and I honestly don't think you can get a better reel for the money. Dollar for dollar, this is it. This Pflueger President reel is a big money reel at a low end price.For starters, the thing looks sharp! Looks aren't really as important to me as functionality, but I had to mention the craftsmanship. It's gorgeous! It is very light weight as well, and built with quality parts. This thing is durable, quiet, smooth, and handles everything I throw at it. Caught five fish my first day out, and they came in smooth as silk.I had a feeling I would like it when I ordered it. As I mentioned before, I had read multiple reviews about it. However, it was hard to believe it was actually that good for the price. It just IS, and I did not expect the quality and performance that I'm getting out of this! I have about 15 rod and reel combos, and this is one of the favorites now.Do yourself a favor and just buy it... It's kinda feels like finding $100 laying on the ground. It's that good in my opinion!

The reel is super smooth and fits my sabiki rod petfectly.I use it for jigging up baitfish from the boat and from the rocks and it performs flawlessly.Ive also used it from the kayak and Its just as good as the stradic I have. Very happy with and definately buy another in the future.
