This is a great product for my son who is always pees through the small slot between the bowl and seat. I would recommend using better quality strips in addition or I'm replacement of the pads that come with it.

Do not buy this product unless you already have double sided tape period. The adhesive supplied is worthless. It is almost impossible to remove the backing from the tape without pulling it from the product making the product useless. Since I had double sided tape, I threw away what came with the product and applied my tape. With that done I would give the actual product 5 stars. It is not brain surgery but it works. I used that double sided removable tape so you can take it off and clean it then just put it back.

When I got this I was impressed with the quality of the deflector itself. The issue however falls with the adhesive. I applied this to the toilet seat as directed and within 48 hours i3 of the 5 connection points had fallen off. I removed it, cleaned everything well and once it dried I used the spare adhesive pieces that were provided and re-installed. 24 hours later and it was off again.Would be great if it only stayed on the toilet seat.

The instructions, if that's what you want to call them, are not clear! The so-called customer service to get the video instructions, were requested but never rendered.The tape that's supplied with this item were less than helpful! The potential application is really tough, unless, of course, you have 3 hands and the associated 15 fingers!So, I procured some double back tape, laid the "device" down flat, put a nice piece of the tape on the area where tape is supposed to be, used a razor the slice the tape at the appropriate places and stuck the device on the appropriate location!SUCCESS!!

This product would be a waste of money if it was sold at a dollar store. Cheap piece of plastic. Sticks to the bottom of the toilet seat with flimsy stickers which lose their stickiness in no time. Horrible product design... its meant to deflect the urine stream, so instead of having urine under your seat you just end up with this thing covered in urine and stinking.It doesnt work at all and for the price, it is a complete waste. Dont make the same mistake I did. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I was excited to find this item as we have two young boys that can definitely benefit from using P-deflectors on the toilet. So I bought two sets. The deflector is a snap to install. I had to trim one of the rubber tabs a little bit to fit around the seat support spacer on the toilet seat. The P-flector comes with two sets of adhesive tabs to adhere it to the bottom of the toilet seat. I guess in case the first set come loose.I first cleaned the seat well and then used alcohol to further clean the area where the tabs would stick. Peel off the adhesive backing, place on the P-deflector and press against the bottom of the seat. I was careful to fully press the adhesive against the seat bottom. I then waited an hour or so to let the adhesive set. (the instructions didn't recommend these steps, but it's just something that I normally do when using adhesives.) All done.I would have given this item a full 5 stars, IF the P-deflector had stayed adhered to the toilet seat. After a couple of weeks, I found the rubber shield floating in the toilet bowl of each toilet. Luckily they didn't flush down as they probably would have caused a blockage.This would be a fine product, one that any house with a young boy who is potty training would want, IF the company would use a sturdier adhesive that will stay put.

I hate to badmouth any product Made in the USA as it is a tough market to compete internationally. That said, this product was an extreme disappointment.First off the adhesive is a flimsy double side tape that is neither fixed to the product nor the paper backing. You can easily have it separate from both at which point you are basically screwed.I learned this the hard way when I peeled off the backing tape from the product thinking the adhesive was fixed to the product, only to learn it was attached to the backing still.I chocked this up as a learning curve and moved to the replacement tape they sent. Carefully set each tab on the product tabs. Went to break the tabs from the middle and the rubber product tab tore down the seam as shown in the picture.I proceeded to finish the mission anyways despite this mishap. Got the rest of the backings off with a bit of trouble. Went to place them on the bottom of the seat. Unfortunately there is no room for error when shaping the curve. Trying to fix the curve a bot lost the sticky non-fixed tape on 2 tabs and the entire mission was a failure.I mean, it's a $15 product, so I'm not going to go through the trouble of returning it. The adhesion should be a fixed adhesive to the actual tab. I just think the product could use a bit more work.Also, they might try marketing it as a fix for problems people of all ages may run into. There are adults with mental handicaps or bidet owners with raised toilet seats or any number of reasons for this product. It's a bit demeaning for those with handicaps etc to be marketed to as a product that is for little children.
