So I started a job working for a company that doesn't nothing but tree work.They offered the basic helmet, but after only a few hours of wearing it I decided that I was either going to get a better helmet or different job.So I ordered this helmet... And it was worth every penny even if it was very expensive.It's very comfortable after you get used to it after a couple of days. I love the way the headband part of it is loose and then you lock it on when you're ready. The ear muffs are adjustable, but right out of the box they felt perfect to me.It's a little heavier than the basic helmet, but after a few days I got used to that as well.The shield is made of metal with a plastic lining around the edge and while it is nice, it dents a little easier than it should... Though it is easily fixable.
