This did not cover the broad end of the axe. Moreover, the quality was lacking as our pet cat in one bite was able to chew one of the pieces in half.

Guardando sia su Amazon che altrove non ho trovato protezioni più convenienti, la qualità sembra buona così come i materiali che dovrebbero essere resistenti infatti si tratta di semplice gomma semirigida che a parte sciogliersi con il fuoco non dovrebbe rovinarsi in altri modi :DQueste protezioni stando a quanto dichiarato dalla Petzl sulla confezione che le conteneva, si adattano a tutte le loro piccozze. Io ho però visto il prezzo ridicolo di questo kit ho voluto provare lo stesso.La protezione per la becca si adatta perfettamente andando a proteggerne almeno i primi 5 cm, la protezione per il puntale invece non si adatta perfettamente per via della conformazione del puntale Grivel che non è a triangolo perfetto, ma un po' sbilenco, comunque forzando leggermente si riesce a farlo rimanere in sede anche se in maniera meno solida rispetto a quanto sperato.Peccato solo che non ci sia anche una protezione per la paletta, avrei pagato volentieri un piccolo extra!In definitiva comunque un buon prodotto ad un ottimo prezzo!

worked great for my usage. Only issue is having to stuff them on the mountain. That being said, that is really not something to negatively rate a product on. Performed perfectly for what i needed and really kept the sharp points from tearing stuff in my checked baggage.
