The first day I gave it to my 3 1/2 month old mini Aussie/minPin, I froze it with some cooked chicken pieces. She went at it non-stop for over an hour until victory was achieved.Today I froze it with banana smooshed in it. Another non-stop session. She LOVES the toy. The rubber is thick and withstands the chewing very well with her puppy teeth.Highly recommend for a “busy toy”.

Have a golden retriever and she's 60lbs and this was a bit too small. That said, my dog still likes to get a frozen treat out of it.

These are great and keep dogs entertained for a while. We both work from home so our pup is always used to having someone around - so when we leave, she gets anxious. We got this and fill it with PB and put in the freezer, give it to her when we leave, and it keeps her entertained while we’re gone. The toy itself is very durable. We got the large size to last longer and it’s definitely a good size for that. She also chews on the silicone after all the PB is gone! These are a must for dogs!

Great price! Compared to most brands and pet shop toys like these, you could pay upwards or $30 other places.Great Toy!I love these types of products for enrichment through the day. We fill it with all types of freeze dried, or frozen fillers. It's soft material is better for your dogs teeth and gums as well as your floors. I also love that it is dishwasher safe for easy clean up once your pup is done. Best of all, these help prevent boredom and makes treats last longer. This is a must have toy/treat.

great sturdy toy. I have olde english bulldogge. Any toy that stands up with those dogs is a great product. Lot bigger than I thought which is a plus. froze water and threw some of their treats in with it. keeps them busy until ice melts. Although I just seen this at Menards for $3.99. Paid too much on Amazon

I love this!! I've ordered several now to have ready to go in the freezer. I'm finding I much prefer this to the kongs. I like that it lays flat for filling with liquids. I put a few kibbles in and pour chicken broth on top and freeze. It lasts a decent amount of time. Great if my puppy still has energy and I need a break. It also helps her quiet down from higher excitement activities. I give once or twice during the day and give it to her every night when I put her in her crate for bed. It's something she enjoys, is easy to refill and doesn't spill.

This is cute! Very solid and chewable. To ensure a longer play time it does great for popping in the freezer after filling with peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin, applesauce, broth, dog ice cream etc ...It's been so much cleaner and easier than putting it in a dish; the treat lasts longer and the dog is entertained longer.Whether frozen or not, this toy is very easy for my dog to get everything / lick clean. It's very easy to clean either putting in the top shelf of dishwasher or hand washing with a bottle brush.Treat of no treat, this is entertaining for my dog. He likes to simply run around with it in his mouth or randomly chew on it. This is different from his balls or bones because it's kind of flat and thin.Good buy and great to help cool him off from the warm weather.

I’ve ordered this penguin a few times over the last couple years for a couple different dogs. It is perfect for a little frozen treat. Puppies love it and small dogs love it (I haven’t tried with a large dog so can’t speak to the durability there). This toy is TOUGH. And it is the perfect amount for a snack. Keep one or a bunch in the freezer for those times when you just need to give a cool treat or for when training “crate” time or “place”. Helpful if you are ditching the bowl and just starting incrementally. Pop one in the cooler if you’re going out for a picnic or a hike and want to have something cold for your little adventure buddy.Soak some kibble, mash it with a fork, add a few bits of something special (ie bits of cheese, chicken, blueberries, banana) stuff the penguin and freeze. Couldn’t be easier. Works GREAT with Honest Kitchen and Fresh Pet type foods. A fun way to add those into the diet if you aren’t using those products as meals. So versatile. Highly recommend this product.

I bought 3 of these for my family of senior rescue Chihuahuas, hoping they’d help the two newest with barking challenges. (They hang out on our screened in porch that overlooks a city street and fly into fits of barking and snarling at every sound - like they’re miniaturized junkyard dogs). One has zero teeth, the other two - the newest additions- are in the process of receiving extensive dental work. All 3 struggle with eating anything that isn’t wet or freeze-dried. I purchased this product bc it seemed like a perfect solution. I thought I could load them up with things like baby food, freeze them. and enjoy a blissful 20 minutes of quiet.Unfortunately, they didn’t work out so well. I started by puréing and then adding their fav at the time - turkey dogs - and I didn’t bother freezing in order to entice them to try the toys. They were into them as long as they could easily access the food, but that didn’t last long. Once they got through the center portion (about a quarter of the food) they stared at me like, Umm, I need you to dig out the rest, please. The plastic was just way too stiff for them to make any more headway - and the food that isn’t in the center is protected by a circle of “teeth,” or tiny plastic triangles that stick out and make rooting around hard for little dogs who can’t manipulate them with their mouths. The next day, I tried adding more liquified food/broth and freezing them, but my sense is that, bc they couldn’t detect a smell from them immediately, they weren’t interested. I put some baby food on top, and dutifully ate that off and then stared at me again like, where’s the rest of our breakfast? I left them where they were in hopes that they’d notice the melting and get excited, but all I got on exchange for that was hot dog purée stained/scented dog bedding.Back to the drawing board, I guess!

This has been a nice toy to have for our puppy as she went through teething and a hot summer. We use the penguin as a licky toy to hydrate her after she has been playing a lot or as something to keep her busy when we need to leave the house. It was not as good for teething as we had hoped because she couldn't really bite it. She mostly can lick it because the ice is trapped in the middle of the penguin's belly. This is a durable toy that will probably last for years and years. We couldn't get the little plastic tags out of the top of the penguin, so that is a little annoying. However, we think this product has been useful for us as dog owners.
