It's a very sturdy and well-built little stand, it feels like the material will last. I think it's a great product but unfortunately my bowls don't fit, most pet bowls are too big for this stand, and smaller bowls aren't good because they can contribute to whisker fatigue. I tried putting a tray on top of it and putting the bowls on that but it wasn't steady enough. I just don't know why they made the width of it so small.

I had to replace the holder the ceramic bowls shown originally came with. This one fit the bowls so I didn't have to replace them. Sits low enough still that my cats (one full grown, one 5 months) can reach their food and water.

We're feeding a stray cat and I had to constantly spray bug spray on the porch to kill and keep the ants out of her food. It became a daily thing and sometimes didn't work. This little, inexpensive raised rack is serving its purpose. Just the right height for her. Much cheaper than wasting bug spray and having to throw food out.Reviewers were correct about the little rubber feet though. I'm guessing during packaging that they are just popping off because they don't fit snug to begin with. Mine only came with 2 rubber feet and even those kept just sliding off. On a finished floor this would be a bad thing but with mine just being on the concrete porch, it's not a big deal.

This was a good height for my 20 yr old cat that was having difficulty swallowing when he leaned over to eat. It put it at the correct height for him to be able to eat while standing. It also fit the mini Pioneer Woman pie plates I use as there food dishes. Only gave it 4 stars ad it was missing 3 of the non-skid feet that were supposed to come with it.

Bought this for my senior dog. She's medium height, about 54lbs. Felt bad watching her strain her neck to eat and drink from her bowls on the ground in her old age. Was looking for a stand that did not come with bowls bc we have Rae Dunn dog bowls for her that I didn't want to stop using, lol. If you are familiar with Rae Dunn dog bowls, we have the large size, and 2 bowls fit perfectly side by side on the stand. I wish I had found this stand sooner. My dog loves it! It's the perfect height for her. No neck straining. I actually think she drinks more water now too bc her bowl is up higher. Would definitely recommend to other pet owners looking for a food stand for their own dog bowls. It looks nice too! Not bulky or anything.

I usually don't write a review but I wanted to say what a great product this is!! I've researched A LOT of elevated pet feeders and I'm so glad I order this item. I've had this feeder for a week. So I have a14 yr old. medium sized dog, she weights 43 lbs and stand 16" from shoulder to floor. (Yes, I measured her...LOL). I was really torn between the Toby and one size up for large dogs. I selected the Toby which truly stands at 7" high and perfect for my old girl. The height was exactly what I needed. Also she's a bit of a messy eater and moves her bowl around the kitchen so I bought the rubber mat someone else recommended in their review and the lengthen was a bit short but worked great and easy to clean. Also stops the clinging of the metal bowl against the railing. The assembly takes less than a 5 minutes and I found it sturdy. It's seems to have slowed her down ( a bit) from gobbling down her food. Lastly, beware of feeder where the bowls sit in a wood or plastic frames. These are havens for mold and bacteria under the bowl's edges that lay against the feeder. Great product and I would highly recommend.

Love this bowl stand. It's very sturdy and easy to clean. I use glass bowls and it's hard to find a stand that doesn't come with SS bowls. I use 6 and 8 inch bowls and they fit with lots of room to give. The top bar is strong enough to keep the bowls in place and the legs are strong enough so the whole thing doesn't topple over. Assembled in a minute. Actually, one of the best things I've bought on Amazon. Planning to purchase another to use as a plant stand.
