I bought it because the house where I'm at has a dirt yard and I don't like the dust, don't plan on staying here long so I needed something cheap. It's very thin and I wouldn't recommend it for big areas or frequently trafficked spots. Now I know to purchase something over an inch in thickness for next time

We got this for our balcony so that our son could spend time out there and play with his toys. It fit perfectly and has a good feel to it. And it really creates a nice outdoor space.

Purchased for our GS to lay on under a tree. He is happy with it. Very light, does not stay in place very well. And frayed badly when cut to fit around tree truck, water does run drain through well.

carpet is nothing like what i expected .. it has no real "turf" quality to it .. it is like tiny pieces of green cellophane somehow knit to look like grass .. plus defective end where they start to roll it up .. it folded permanent creases all across the mat .. and it looks hideous .. they should put a roll in it so this doesn't happen .. yea .. let's see how long it lasts .. i have it outside my music room .. where no one will ever see it ..

We had a tailgate harvest. The carpet was used as a football field and made goalpost out of PVC. Looked amazing.

I had to cut mine a little to work around some beams on my porch. I didn't really want to do this in case it would "roll" up around the beam, but it seems as though this is not going to be an issue. It was easy to cut with regular scissors or a utility knife. It seems like it drained well after a storm. I was worried about this because I don't want it to hold water on my wooden porch and rot the wood out. I treated the wood first with decking oil. It's only been on the porch for about a week, but so far, so good.Addendum: After having this on my porch for about 5 months, I took it back off the porch as it DOES retain moisture. The wood is damp underneath especially in the middle. I think the product is wonderful in that it certainly held up well, but it is not worth using if my porch will rot out from the constant dampness. I removed the "grass" in an abundance of caution.
