I used one of these years ago with my two greyhounds. We lived on the beach and let them run to their heart's content. They always returned once they were trained with this, That was 20 years ago. Now I have a very independent hunting dog, half Border Collie/Half McNab. I'm using this to train him before going to the beach and it's been very effective and quick, so he'll be going to the beach soon. Highly recommended for training dogs to return.

Was looking for one of these for a lure coursing squawker. Works perfectly.

I bought this for recall on my 2 greyhounds. It gets their attention & brings them back to me. I needed it once and was well worth the money. This one is a second to carry in the car, for when we are away from home.

After adopting my first ever retired racing greyhound I became terrified of her getting out the door accidentally and ending up on the side of the road dead, like a deer hit by a car. I got this as a precaution. Planning to use sparingly, training in the dog park in case I lose sight of her off lead. I'm encouraged as it works on her in the limited occasions I've used it in the large fenced backyard.I also wanted a. Are for storage and transport that would prevent accidental sounds and not have to take it apart to go in, thus not have to put it together when I need to use it. I've included pictures, I don't know where I got this plastic snap case, I already had it and it worked for me. It measures 8.5 x 5 x 2. It lives in a convenient drawer in the kitchen, and also fits in my dog bag.

I've never hunted, but if you're trying to attract all the dogs in your neighborhood, use this! I purchased this to make my retired racing Greyhound run back to me quickly, and it's turned into the coolest dog playdate toy of all time. The pups will come running (and jumping up to snatch this from your hands) when you squawk this baby!

Bought this for my Chihuahua mix after I watched her play so hard with one she threw up a little water, then beg to play more. (We didn't) It's good quality, and has great sound. If anything, the softness of the material will tear if my dog plays too hard.I would definitely get this again

Bought this last year for my first Greyhound. It really works great! I use it about every six-eight weeks when she is roaming around in my fenced yard. She responds immediately every time and comes at near light speed. If you want to try before buy, google on " greyhound squawker on refrigerator " and goto Greytalk and click on the link while your Greyhound is in the room. Be ready to mute the audio immediately.I like to keep my squawker in my car. Problem is that only the slightest movement will cause it to squawk - such as when removing rom glove box or similar. Two solutions. One is to remove the rubber air tube. Simply blow into the end of the wooden squawker. The second solution is to find the proper sized wooden pencil with eraser. Insert the eraser into the end of the wooden squawker. Want a tight fit.I cut the pencil to a reasonable length, however this will leave the end of the stub exposing carbon to get all over your car, hands, etc. Solution is to put a drop of Super Glue on the end. You then end up with approximately a 4" Pencil Stub with an eraser on one end and a flat pencil end sealed with Super Glue.
