Works just as good as Capstar for less money. This is the exact same active ingredient at the same dosage. Make sure you understand this medication is NOT a monthly treatment. It’s labeled to work for 24-48 hours. The idea is to use this along with other treatments (home, yard and pet). This will break the life cycle of fleas allowing other medications or treatments the time to work while providing relief immediately . It will make you pet scratch and itch profusely for a short time- this is normal and is due to how this drug kills the fleas. If you have a flea infestation you may have to use additional doses to keep the life cycle broken until your other methods can take root.

This product is to kill fleas currently alive and feeding on your dog. It does NOT kill eggs. It will kill every single flea that bites your dog during the 24+ hours it is effective. If the dog has many fleas you may see increased scratching for a few hours as the fleas go nuts as they're dying.If you have a flea infestation then you need to take care of that as these pills won't. I had boarding and grooming clients who would give these pills every other day for several doses while they treated their house and yard. Some of my clients would give a dose to their dog BEFORE going to the dog park or hiking in an area that likely had fleas.I kept this product on hand at all times so that if I had a dog came for grooming or boarding with fleas I could dose them immediately and prevent an infestation of my facility.I never saw any dog or cat have a reaction of any kind to this, and it was especially useful for the dogs who would get flea bite dermatitis if they got bitten several times.Fantastic product, worth every penny!

Fast acting and Great on flea Infestation. However, it only works on adult fleas and doesn't kill the eggs. This is what you need to know to be satisfied with this product.I use this in conjunction with monthly flea treatment. I first give to my dog, with 30 min to 1 hr. Bath dog in fea shampoo. Treat yard, patio, wash dog bedding and spray with flea spray after the drying cycle. I also spray down the house. Yes you need to do all this especially right before flea season.Some have commented the their dog continues to scratch however you need to understand that they will because they have flea bites all over their body. Think of it like this, getting bit by a mosquito and you scratch and scratch. The saliva of the fleas and or mosquitoes causes you to itch until it heals or you put some kind of soothing ointment, lotion or medication on it.Therefore, I will bath my dog once more in an oatmeal shampoo with in the week. Then I will give another pill 48hrs later then save the rest just in case there is another infestation.This product work well and great in combination of monthly flea treatment that also kills eggs and treat for mosquitoes

Got these for our pups when they got fleas but we couldn't get them into the vet soon enough to get prescription flea meds. I think these helped to an extent but the dogs still had plenty of fleas on them even after taking these a few days in a row. These are also only effective for 24hrs so not a long term solution- more of a supplemental. Id say these are a good option in a pinch but definitely won't solve your flea problem. Get flea meds from the vet and vacuum vacuum vacuum.

A note before the rest: this product is JUST to kill fleas currently hatched and roaming around on your dog. It does NOT kill eggs. It does NOT continue to kill after the initial effects wear off. It will, however, kill every single flea on your dog during its effective period.You will need to clear your environment of fleas as well. If you have an outside dog, or one you bring into your yard to do its business, you'll need to treat your yard.These tablets are safe to use every single day with your dog. I don't know how it's possible, but I've given it to my dog 3 days in a row with zero side effects. It also doesn't interact with any other medication at all.Fantastic product, worth every penny.

This is a great product that I have been using for years on my dogs. It works within about an hour and last 24-48 hours. It is a small pill and easy to feed your dog with some cheese or some kind of snack. It seems to be tasteless to the animal, and works very quickly. Fleas will just start to die and fall off of the animal soon after ingestion. It has no side effects that I have seen, it only seems to has positive effects. There is no smell to the tablets they are completely oderless as far as I can tell. I highly recommend these if your dog has a flea problems as a first resort then getting a Seresto flea and tick collar which is a hidden gem of a flea collar. It works within just a day or so and then protects the animal for 8 months. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny as they have no smell and no greasy feel and have protected my pet that was continually getting fleas from our front yard. I highly highly recommend looking into a Seresto flea collar as a secondary or even a primary defense against fleas as they stopped all flea activity on my dog as well as my friends dogs that live outside in Mexico where fleas are extremely bad. Just a bit of extra advice to look into as a great health investment for your pet. However it's noteworthy to mention these pills are a excellent first line of defense for ridding pest from your pet in a single day, they just need a collar if you have continued infestations on your animals.
