I have a boisterous puppy. When he gets distracted or determined to follow a squirrel, our walk turns into a roller coaster ride. This clicker is effective in getting him to pay attention to commands. I recommend them. They are lightweight and loud enough to hear.

These clickers are particularly quiet. I have another one that is much louder, but I wanted to have multiple to leave in different areas. They're fine in quiet spaces, but I find outdoor noises drown out the sound of these clickers making them not ideal for outdoor training sessions

Not exceptionally loud, so if you are planning to use this for "recall" work, then don't bother (not really designed for that I know, but wanted to make sure everyone understood ;-) Loud enough for a nearby dog to hear though and seems well made.
