Works great on small ( less than 12 inches) areas. 15 to 20 minutes run time. It’s Not a Steam Cleaner! I used it to clean clean puppy messes. Customers may complain about suction, but remember it’s BATTERY Operated, use couple of paper towers to absorb moisture. Even the Pro Cleaners do not completely dry rug. Totally, it is a Good cleaner, learn how to use it by practice.

I use the spot lifter device many times a day to clean up after our two little Maltese dogs. After about two years it needs to be replaced. I previously used the simpler non powered brush 2019 version (20037). This time I purchased the upgraded power brush version (2837). These are my impressions:1. Weighs a little more, a little clumsier to use and store.2. Because of the power brush it is much wider which prevent ability to get close to side obstacles (baseboards, furniture).3. Power bush is not effective enough to put up with the constant need to clean the entanglements. Does not scrub very deep. Can be operated without running the brush, but then the replacement accessory is better.4. Power brush replacement accessory is not a brush rather a bar containing ¼ inch plastic fingers (works ok, easier to keep clean). Easy to install or exchange with power brush.5. The tank for collecting dirty water has a larger drain plug, not sure it will hold up any better. The latch for releasing the tank is a little difficult to access as compared to 20037 model.6. The tank for dispensing water solution is a little smaller, easier to access and observe. Snaps into place. The spray would sometimes not work on previous model, requiring reseating of the solution tank.7. It still requires plugging in the power adapter cord, this one is a little easier to insert.8. Control of solution spray has moved to momentary switch on top between power switch and power brush switch. Previous model was more natural like a trigger under the handle.9. Because of the change in power button and spray activation switches, plus additional switch for power brush, the grip of the machine during spot removal is less comfortable and makes it difficult to maintain adequate angle and pressure.10. Seems to have a little more vacuum power, probably effect of stronger battery needed for extra power brush requirement.I likely will not purchase this model again, since it does not have sufficient improvements to offset the new shortcomings and increased price. Hopefully Bissell will upgrade the non-power brush model. Fix the dirty water drain plug, use the new dispensing tank positioning and provide a wireless recharge base.

Nice added touch to having a little cleaner to try and see how well it works! And it works well!!!Nice machine! Light weight and highly recommend. Lots of power, but not a lot of noise. Seems fantastic thus far. I used it for my cloth sofa. I do recommend buying more cleaner fluid. 1 day delivery on the cleaner fluid when I ran out. Very nice!

I bought this for my elderly dog who didn't always have control over her bodily functions. She passed away about 6 months ago and we have since gotten a puppy we went through potty training with. Let me tell you, this was a game changer for us. It is always ready to go with the premixed solution in its tank. It's cordless so you just unplug and go! No cords, no separate water/solution mix, no big heavy machine to haul out to use for a 6" spot and then clean and put away. Then once you've cleaned the area, pop off the small bottom container, dump out and then rinse. Easy peasy!I have found it cleans extremely well even removing old stains that the big carpet cleaner couldn't remove! I haven't had a problem with it not sucking the water out of the carpet. It's not any worse than a regular carpet cleaner.I haven't had a problem with the battery giving out even when the unit hasn't been plugged in for a couple weeks. I would use several times each day for our elderly dog without charging in between. I never even got close to running out of battery juice. The premixed cleaner isn't really cheap but you don't go through it too fast because you're just spot cleaning. There were 2 little bottles included in the package. I'm sure other company's products would work but I found the Bissell stuff to work really, really well so it's worth it to me to get the ickiness out the first time! You can use this for more than just pet messes. Pice of chocolate that got ground in? It'll take that out. The infamous "Not Me" person wipe their Cheeto hands on the carpet? Use this. Your kid pukes on the floor? Yep, that come out too. Muddy shoe or paw prints by the door? You've got it covered! Best of all it's no more work than if you had to get the hand vac out to clean up cracker crumbs!
