I really like the design of this groomer. The idea of it self cleaning was the reason for my purchase - just push in the button on the groomer head to extend the bristles and push it again to retract them. It didn't take many uses for that mechanism to break (wear out?) and the design that was so appealing became impossible to use. Sad!

Just got it, so I can't speak to longevity, but it's already worth the price (for the record I got it on sale, don't think I would have tried it at the 40 dollar price point). I have a senior cat with short but very thick hair. She's not great at grooming but HATES being brushed, absolutely despises it. I always get a stroke or two in with a brush that doesn't do that much and then get scratched for my troubles.She's not only letting me use this one on her, she actually purred when I did this morning. She's very sensitive so I think she likes that the tines have little beads on the end. *I* like that it's so broad and I can get so much with one stroke, and that it actually does a solid job and isn't a glorified back scratcher/massager. Super easy to clean, too. Really really hope it lasts.

I bought the slicker brush to use on my husky as he has been shedding a lot during the summer. The brush is easy to use as all you have to do is press the button for the bristles to come out and when the hair is collected, you just press the button again and the bristles will retract and the hair will fall off the brush. If there is any hair left on the brush, the brush can easily be cleaned and wiped off. Also, my husky stayed still while being brushed and at one point he even laid down, so the brush did not bother him. The brush is a great value for the money because it does work and it is so easy to use.

First and foremost, the pet brush performs well. The push button does stick, however, it’s a minor issue being that it removes hair well.

Great for undercoats. My Corgi just loves it! Very easy clean. I love it!But for my three cats, it was a bit to big for their chin rubs etc. They prefer a smaller brush head. Overall, superior quality, great design, and very good price.

My MaltiZhu is a TERROR to brush. No matter the type of brush. She screams like I'm trying to kill her. She bites the brush and my hand like she's fighting for her life. When that fails she wriggles free and runs around the house. Hiding under chairs and tables. If I dare to give her a break and leave the brush within her sights, she will eat it. She is truly so dramatic about it. So, I naturally have bought about fifteen different types of brushes and she reacts this way with all of them. I was dubious that this one would be any different. But voila! It came, I let her smell it, (usually at this point, she'd start barking at a brain busting pitch, but she's totally fine), clicked the plastic tipped bristles into place, touched her back with them...still fine...give a gentle stroke...she looks happy and calm...start brushing. She sat right there, happy as a clam. I had brushed her entire body, including her feet, which she hates the most usually, in under five minutes. She enjoyed it so much, I sat there for them more, just brushing her because she was letting me! Never thought I'd have my mind blown by a BRUSH. Afterwards, with her favorite treatsie down the hatch and a good shake of her now luxurious coat, she curled up next to her sister for a snooze. The brush is truly self cleaning! You push the button and the bristles retract, allowing you to just wipe away the fur it picked up during brushing. I will buy this brush every single time.

We have a 3 year old Husky and boy does she shed! We’ve used a lot of brushes before and nothing seems to do the job. This brush took so much of her winter coat off it was amazing. The retractable bristles also make it a great addition. Our busy is now shedding so much less. Highly reccomend!
