Great priced flea comb. One of my cats has dandruff issues we're trying to resolve. In the meantime this comb is great at helping to remove dandruff and dry skin from a cat's coat and sparing them from having baths.

This comb is not suitable for long haired dogs. It does not go a;ll the way through the fur and seems to want to break - craking sound. It is not difficult to hold or use, but certainly not great for long haired dogs. I am keeping the comb for my two short hairs but am disappointed that I cannot use it for all of them. Need to continue looking for a sturdier one that goes all the way through the fur for my two long haired dogs.

This is a fantastic flea comb I like every thing about it. The handle is cute and the right length and shape. The comb catches fleas easily . My animals have decided that they love it, too, even the Calico Cat! Can't live without it. It is strong and I am sure will last forever. I picked it over the others as it looked like quality and it is. I plop it into a cup of soapy water after combing and later rinse off the fleas after I am sure they are very dead or swish it around to dislodge them in the water if I am going to do more than one animal. My Boxer comes and tells me he wants the Pet Rebublique Comb if he gets a flea on him! He very quickly learned that scruching his bottom and curling it around in a peculiar way ( that only Boxer owners would understand), will get the idea through to me that an itchy creature needs to be removed. The price is so small but the product is so well made and effective. Thank You.

Full disclosure, I did not use this for my pet, I used it for my beard! If you have a curly or wavy beard made out of what feels like steel wire, this comb is for you. I have tried umpteen different beard comb/brush products trying to pull straight and untangle this mane that grows so ungainly from my body. This comb at least does the latter, I am still searching for solutions to the former. It is just the right size for beard combing and small enough that I can keep it discretely on my sofa side table without it looking like a grooming studio. I can give it a good comb while watching TV or just getting out of the shower. It will pull at first, need to go slow, but after a few passes it is very comfortable and helps keep my beard brushed and tangle free. For reference, my beard is about 0.25 to 0.75 in length.

I like this flea comb a lot better than the double row. Maybe I'm old school but I tried the double row and had to look front and back everytime I combed threw my long haired dachshunds coat, in addition to wondering if a flea was caught between the two rows. This comb is quick. You can see through it so no need to look on both sides. No worries about fleas hiding in the middle. The teeth are very close together and it's a bit wider than the double row comb. It's the style I'm used to and works great for me and my girl.

I have a Yorkie and purchased this to groom her face which works out great. The teeth are short enough so I can stay away from the eyes and be able to comb the face. As a side issue we keep Flee and tick drops on her year around. While combing her back I found a Flee it didn't jump or run, I called the tick manufacturer and they said that their product was working and the Flee was dying. I have not seen anymore on her. Thanks for the nice comb, it works.

I buy tons of items on Amazon and don't do reviews very often, but when I find something that works and helps, I want to tell the world! I am the owner of a strictly indoor cat, and yes, I am now waging war on fleas in my home! We have two neighborhood dogs that are flea covered and that's how I think we got them! We now sweep and spray our pants and shoes before coming in the house. Over the past few weeks, I have used 5 foggers, bottles of natural repellent, advantage, frontline plus, now frontline gold, 3 flea baths, vet visit, traps, everything but a flame thrower!! Finally decided to really investigate how to regain my home from the little #%^*!! I decided to block off most rooms from my cat, ( fleas can only reproduce if they consume animal blood!), vacuum 2-3 times a day ( under and on furniture, steps, etc) AND use this comb on my poor cat 2-3 times a day! He was literally climbing into cabinets and jumping up on anything he could to escape! This comb will pull out the fleas and most of the time, hold them in place til you can slam it into a bowl of soapy water! He is a Persian and it will go through his coat just fine. He loves it and I have probably collected about 60 fleas in a week off him. I was using a regular fine tooth comb but it's not the same. The stiff, silver teeth allow you to see the flea and make sure it dies a horrible soap filled death! My cat is so much happier and calm and I feel like I am finally starting to win the war! Worth its weight in gold!
