Love this product. It is soothing and you can wash your pup often without issue. Good for hot spots to frequent dirty dogs.

The shampoo is rich and lathers well. I bathed our poodle once a week for 3 weeks and the scent was gone. She has very sensitive skin and this shampoo was soothing to her. Her itching diminished and the "corn chip" foot odor was resolved within a month. It does come back periodically and I bathe her again. I would recommend this shampoo to help resolve the "corn chip" odor for dogs.

I have used this for many years on three different dogs. It lathers well and it cleans her skin and hair very well. It smells good and does not irritate my pup. When I say lets get a bath, she uns to the tub and jumps in. She is a Westie and they can sometimes have skin issues but since using this shampoo none of my dogs have had issues. I recommend this for anyone looking for a shampoo to help skin issues or just give a good bath.

I absolutely love this product for my girl. I use the shampoo and leave in conditioner. It works and stops her from scratching when she has flare ups. She atopic dermatitis and sometimes she has bad breakouts. This product along with extra TLC is a perfect combo. It smells really good. It reminds me of Moroccan or argan oil. It makes my dog really soft too. Highly recommend!!

Does a good job at a comparatively good price. Would like to have the same product more lightly scented or fragrance free. Also, if the fragrance is strong ( though pleasant) for me, think of how it hits our pups extremely sensitive noses.

I have used the yellow label Zymox before but I like this one better. My very elderly bunny has staining and soiling issues. This product was very gentle, removed some of the staining and left her fur soft and healthy.

I use zymox shampoo and conditioner for skin relief on my Chihuahua. He has allergies and gets red, inflamed skin and the shampoo and conditioner make his skin feel better. The Conditioner rinse you can use just by itself - it doesn't have to be rinsed off. Smells great too!

My dog has had skin bacteria issue on and off for a while because of his age and immunity. I read the reviews on this item and had tried the Zymox brand for his ear yeast infections and this stuff performed pretty miraculously. The shampoo is amazingly rich and thick. It smells good and does a much better job than following up my dog's bath with a vinegar rinse which is what I was doing before to get rid of the skin issues. However, my sensitive dog hated, really hated the vinegar rinse and it would stress him out so much that I had to find another solution. I tried this and he was pleasantly surprised as was I. This gets to the deep areas beneath the coat easily and doesn't just sit on the surface of the skin. I followed the instructions about letting it sit for 3-5 minutes and I let it set for five and more. The shampoo is easy to rinse out and really leaves his skin feeling soft. After his bath, he does not show the normal irritation of moving from one position in the house to the next. He seems more settled and not trying to escape the itch. After his bath, I inspected the areas and they were almost as pink as the rest of his normal skin. But don't be fooled! Bacteria and fungus invasions are nothing to play around with. I am giving him a bath every other day for three weeks and washing his bedding every single day and it is making a difference. This shampoo is great and I have purchased the Zymox coat conditioner for after bath rinsing. I will post more later as progress goes...

So far, so good. Let me give you some background information on my dog since that is what I was looking for when I was reading reviews. We have a 6-1/2 year old pit mix female. Around the age of one year, she started having skin issues ranging from redness to itching to hair loss - the whole nine yards. We spent several thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars on veterinary care including visits to a veterinary dermatologist. She had undergone your standard steroid therapies (which no one pet wants to endure) and had even had sulfur-lime dips (that our former vet said would "cure" her.) She had been on a raw diet, tried holistic remedies such as coconut oil, ACV, etc. When I say we tried everything, I mean we tried everything available at those times. She was diagnosed with a bacterial yeast overgrowth on her skin as her primary skin issue, and she also had seasonal allergies as well. Our former vet wanted to put her on Atopica, but after reading the various pharmacology results, we decided against it and changed vets. Right now...our dog is on Apoquel, but Apoquel does not "solve" or "treat" the issue. It only helps alleviate the body's response. We had been bathing her with other shampoos when I came across Zymox. Knowing how well Zymox works for her ears, I read some reviews and took the plunge to buy both shampoo and enzymatic rinse conditioner. We bathed her with Zymox, and the first time we used the enzymatic rinse (sort of like cream rinse for humans,) I rubbed it on her and let it dry. I was skeptical about this because in the past, leave-on type of conditioners and "protectants" left a film that would dry and flake. The day after we bathed her the first time with Zymox, the redness subsided on her skin (she was having a particularly bad flare up from environmental allergies.) She also stopped itching as much. She itched here and there, but when we opted to do baths on one day and rubbing some of the enzymatic conditioning rinse (which can be used like a rinse, watered down as a spray, or rubbed in as-is) on the other days (every other day,) she has greatly improved. We will begin adding in some digestive enzymes and probiotics in her grain-free, low starch kibble, and go from there. However, if you're looking for immediate relief for an itchy dog (keep in mind...this is not a treatment...this is solely to help alleviate the symptoms. You need to seek veterinary assistance for a diagnosis) this is it. We now keep a spray bottle of conditioning rinse and use the rinse "straight as is" in problem areas.

My dog was biting his paws so much that there were no more hair left. This product cured him. works so well that he does not have itch any more. I recommend this to everyone who has dogs with allergies or this kind of problem and do not want to pay a vet $150-$200 for a temporary fix.
