I love pet head but this doesn't smell like cotton candy. It is a good shampoo but not a great smell.

This shampoo really does smell phenomenal, plus it’s also gentle on the dog skin. I have a red and white border collie, so you could say I have a redhead dog with sensitive skin. This shampoo caused no problems. He actually didn’t itch at all, until he started to get dirty again, I will be repurchasing!

Birthday sparkle does not smell like vanilla or cake so if that’s what you’re looking for it’s not this. More fruity than anything

I’m not sure how much it smells like a birthday cake, it more smells like strawberries to me. But one way or the other my dog doesn’t stink anymore and I love it! They really hit the nail on the head with this one. Every time somebody complains about their dog stinking no matter how many bad they give them. I always suggest this product
