I have 2 cats, one short hair and one long hair. The short haired one sheds like a corgi and the long hair one gets long hair between his toes and his fur creates big balls on the floor. I've used it on each of them twice and they like it. It makes grooming sooooo much easier. If you have smaller pets or 1 medium sized dog then I recommend this size for sure.
