I’m so happy to have these safety scissors. They are sharp like people hair scissors. We have a very old cat that hi gets matted hair that hurts when I brush her. She’s a mess now n her sides. Guess she can’t reach anymore. Although she gets mad I cut bad clumps. I use cat sprays which helps clean her but the scissors are needed and the curved tip won’t poke her like a regular scissors. I trimmed some of my hair to test it.

Our dogs and cats are notorious for squirming when we try to trim them, and we could not risk using scissors with sharp tips. Of course you have to be careful with all scissors, but these are very safe. It's also nice that you get two pairs of different lengths. Great deal, and safe. Five stars.

My Border Collie mix puppy kept getting mats because she’s not a fan of brushing. She’s deaf and stubborn. The one thing she will allow me to do is cut the mats out immediately after her bath. The scissors I had for my own hair were also sharp but they couldn’t handle her wet hair, the blades would bend.These scissors have sharp, strong blades that can easily cut her wet hair. So glad I found these!

These are super sharp, yet feel safer to use thanks to the rounded ends. I have a long haired cat that gets knots behind her front legs (which can be painful to brush, or worse yet if not removed). This set was exactly what I needed to keep the fur trimmed and my girl neat and healthy.

These cut pretty well now, but there is a catch in the blade and takes some effort to fully cut through pets hair to close the blade entirely. Love the rounded tip that was my reason to buy plus the cost. The rounded blade is new to me and kind of liking it.
