The innovative incline of the Pet Gear One Step reduces the amount of stairs needed to climb, eliminating the stress on your pet. Large teardrop shape promotes pet’s access from the left or right. The One Step easily snaps together (no tools required) and looks great in any room, like a piece of furniture. The One step your pet can’t do without!.

My dog doesn’t have any idea how to use this!I do think it’s a great step up for older dogs, once you teach them how to use it.

I got this to help my medium sized senior dog (~50lbs) get on the sofa. I tried a few styles of dog ramp and this one was by far the best. Most dog stairs seem to be for small dogs only. Foam stairs were too flimsy and buckled under her weight. They were also too steep so she could not get her front and back feet on it at the same time and she’d usually attempt the jump instead. I also tried a big wooden incline ramp which was definitely sturdier, but too precarious and led to a fall. The Pet Gear Stramp is perfect for medium dogs because it is sturdy and just the right height and length. She can use it easily, no falls. It’s also super lightweight (I can lift it easily with one hand) so I can bring it in the car to help her get in and out. It has little rubber grippers that prevent it from sliding on hard surfaces. Plus it blends in well with my furniture. I seems like it would work for large dogs too (I can stand on it, ~130lbs). I highly recommend this product.

Not much to say about a pet ramp - it's easy to set up, is sufficiently wide and sturdy enough for my bulldog to waddle up to the couch and contrary to most pet ramps, it's not entirely hideous. In my experience the one flat step is much easier for dogs than the traditional step type. Would definitely buy again.

I have two dogs ages 11 who needed some help getting on the furniture and beds because of sometimes causing themselves to limp after jumping on/off the furniture/beds! One is 10 lbs and one 13 lbs. They can't do ramps that meet the floor nor could they handle going down the stair ramps due to their builds and little knees. I needed a gradual ramp that didn't go all the way to the floor or furniture/bed so that they have a little jump on/off the ramp and a little jump on/off the furniture/beds to the ramp. These fit my needs for my dogs! I love how wide they are all the the way around and they are more than sturdy enough for my little dogs. Although they don't recommend it, I stood on them and they did not give or bend (even tho plastic, they are sturdy for what they are!). The carpet pieces can be pulled off for cleaning as they are secured w/velcro underneath the carpet piece and they attach to the ramp. They were easy to assemble and my dogs don't feel insecure on them like they did going down ramps that meet the floor (these ramps allow them to jump up or off like they would a sidewalk curb and they can stop on them before continuing movement if they want to!). I just used treats and blocking for a little while to get them used to using them instead of straight jumping on and off the furniture/beds. My bed is not high off the ground due to having small dogs like some beds, so these ramps work perfectly for my needs for my furbabies. I loved the 1st one so much after trying it out that I immediately ordered another one!

My dog is old and her back legs are failing her. She likes to be with me when I drive around. She is too heavy for me to pick her up. I tried ramps, but I found the ramps too unwieldy and slippery. This is perfect. Although it takes up a lot of trunk space in my little hatchback, it is worth it. It is very sturdy, wide enough for the dog to feel comfortable enough to step onto it, but light. It is extremely easy to put together (less than 3 minutes). We have long winters and I sometimes have to put my foot onto the corner of it so it doesn't slide around in the snow when the dog jumps in and out of the car. I would recommned this.

El producto es excelente. Es sólido y firme, no se resbala en el piso. Hay que entrenar al perro para que lo utilice, en particular si está acostumbrado a saltar

** Update 5 + years later. Unfortunately the fur baby this was purchased for has since passed but I have been able to share this with 2 other family member with dogs who were also aging and having troubles. They have both used this and also agrees with it being stable yet lightweight & easy for their dogs to use. Still highly recommended! 2.10.25This is a great product. I was looking for something to help make getting in and out of the car easier for my 75 lb older dog. I was hoping to find something lightweight, easy to take out of or put into the car without an assembly process each time and something he could use without slipping off or losing footing. This turned out to be a perfect match across the board. It was easy to put together, no tools required just pop the support bars into place and it's all set. It's surprisingly sturdy, I tried standing on it a few times to check for any wobbling or sliding and didn't notice either. I have a small SUV and this fits right below the door frame and the shape allows my dog to step on it from either the front or the side. The fact that it's one ample sized platform instead of several smaller steps makes it much easier for my dog to get his footing when he steps on it. The carpet covering is substantial and great for traction, looks like it's velcroed on but it's very securely attached with a few long strips and the pieces that are in contact with ground are plain plastic so you can quickly wipe them off if needed. I keep mine on the floor in the backseat and grab it as needed to get him in or out, the design makes it easy to grab and again it's light. I'm very pleased with this product and more importantly my dog can continue his road trips with ease!

I have a 75+ lb (stout) senior dog with mobility issues and a small sedan (Accord). I purchased this item to easily get him in and out of my car. The doors on my car do not open all the way to fit a ramp, this butts up right against the car, so he can just step into the vehicle. It fits perfectly under the door so I can place it before I open the door (excited dogs tend to try and jump out) so that it is already set up when he is ready to exit the car. I was worried with other products that I wouldn't have the time to set up before he tried to jump into or out of the car, so this is exactly what I needed! It is light weight and fits easily in the front passenger seat area or in my trunk. It also works great indoors for my couch. I have sat on this a few times myself (150 lbs or so) and have stepped onto it for a short period. If you are looking for a ramp or step for a large-XL dog, this is it. Easy to assemble, light to carry, and no training needed. I have three dogs and all of them use this now to get onto the couch, and even use it to sit on for a more intense begging session if I am snacking while watching TV. I spent alot of time researching steps and ramps, pondering what would work the best. I purchased this several months ago and it is still intact. I highly, highly recommend this product. Mine was an open-box item and yes, I paid full price (no discounts) for this item.
