It says that these are 15 1/4 inches from groove to groove. They are only 14 3/4 from groove to groove - too short for standard file cabinets.

IT FITS!!!! I was afraid to purchase because the product says 15 1/4" but I tried. It fits 15" perfectly. You need to know that you should put some files on both sides to balance the weight (or use a weight. (I weighted down one side and that caused the notches to bend but I bent them back into place and put files on the other side to balance the weight out and now it works perfectly.)

The area where files will hang onto are strong, but the ends that hang onto the drawer are someone sturdy. They bend really easily so I’m just waiting to see at what weight of my filing will they collapse.

4 of the 6 pieces arrived with bent tabs - "metal" is super flimsy and more like plastic.the measurements listed are not accurate, the space between the indents is 15" exactly, not 15-1/4" as stated. They will NOT fit regular lateral filing cabinets. There are complete garbage. Do NOT buy.

These are glorified plastic and struggle to hold files. I would not buy them again. Why doesn't anyone use metal anymore? Plastic is not strong enough for the job.

Rails came with ends bent. Very flimsy. Had to bend ends to prevent rails from tipping in and dropping folders. One positive, they were the only rails that listed correct measurements (notch to notch) in the description.

Needed something for our new three drawer, lateral file cabinet and these work perfectly. Thank you for the wonderful product and the nice price to boot.

They were delivered bent in the package. Luckily, they were easily bent back into proper shape. They did not fit directly out of the package, but I was able to grind a bit off of each to make them fit. If I need more, I may or may not order this brand. Time will tell.
