Acheté en prévision d'un périple au Pérou. La plastification semble solide face à l'eau et aux déchirures.

Booked a trip to Machu Pichu and wanted a Peru map for planning purposes. Just the ticket.

Tear proof, water resistant, and everything that says on the description. It comes in a different scale than other ones that I have like the one from Colombia. My only complain it's that I need it to buy the Colombia, Perú and Brazil one in order to localize the Amazon basin.

Just what I needed to work on a trip for the future. Pliable, but sturdy. Should last a long time.

It is very useful for overall planning of a trip to South America later on this year. I purchased it because I had a National Geographic map of New Zealand that I used for a trip there last year that I liked very much. Although it is not detailed enough to do detailed planning, it provides enough detail to see where there are major roads, cities, etc. The fact that it is printed on "plastic" is a plus as well.

National Geographic makes GOOD, sturdy travel maps. Very nice to supplement the little and limited maps in travel guides.

My daughter and husband just went on a mission trip to Peru and they went to a tiny mountain village that most people have not heard of....but it was on this map! Very detailed and lined with a waterproof coating, it has been well used and is surviving well. My boys and I tracked their trip from home, learning a little about every town they stopped at and how to track elevation on a map. Great little map, the 'adventure line' has more details than the other maps, I will be buying more of these.
