I was very skeptical. A fix in a small box, with only a few parts, for that price seemed hard to believe. But everyone swore by it. So I gave it a chance, and I'm so damn glad I did. This kit is amazing. Solved several ignition issues I was having with my 54 Olds, immediately. Best upgrade I have bought in years. And will always use these in the future for any engine still running a points distributor.Seriously awesome.

Used on my 1955 Oldsmobile 324 Super 88. Did a little research first and hooked right up. Bypassed the resistor as instructed. Fired right up and runs smoother than before. So far, so good!

I use this on my 324 V8 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88. I have had this for about 2.5 years with absolutly no problems. It is installed on the original delco distributor in less than a half hour. I no longer have to adjust points and I haven't had to do any maintenaince or upkeep to the Ignitor. The Ignitor II is better than the Ignitor because I don't have to worry about leaving the key ignition on and burning up the Ignitor. I learned that lesson the hard way on my last ignitor from pertronix so that is why I got the ignitor II. It is worth every penny to insure clean starts and solid performance and not have to adjust points.
