Ordered this for an elderly lady to replace the flag she received for her deceased spouse. She was so grateful especially because it came in the mahogany case.

This product was hands down amazing. As the title says it comes with a flag that is designed for military funeral requirements made out a well woven and high craftmanship. It box it came in was purpose built for the flag and frame. The flag was sealed in plastic to protect it. Both the front and back of the acrylic of wooden frame was covered in protective plastic too. To someone that has not had someone in the Military it is hard to explain just how important these flags are to the family. This set is a wonderful way to honor the individual and the sacrifices that they made. The one that we have is for my maternal Grandfather and it is one of the most precious items in this house. It has been placed in the office where my mother and I spend most of our time. It brings back memories of him every time I see it. I can not thank the company enough for the care and dignity that they took with making this.

My father-in-law was a veteran. When he passed away, my wife bought a display case that was pretty cheap. I ordered this as a surprise for her and she LOVES it!When I ordered it, I completely overlooked the fact that it came with a flag as we already had his actual flag. The included flag is the exact same quality as the one she received from the military at the funeral. It is heavy duty, feels and looks well made. We are actually going to use it to replace the nylon one we fly during the holidays.The case itself looks nicely made as well. You can feel the difference between this wooden case and the imitation plastic wooden one we are replacing. It is stained a cherry like color. The back of the case is where you insert the flag (only if you aren't using the one they included which is already folded and inside the case) and it is held in place by a good number of clips. There is no chance this will come loose.The front of the display is a bit disappointing as it is plexiglass vs. real glass. For a case that is this well made and for the price ($89.99 at the time of this review), I would have expected real glass. Be aware that there is a protective film on the front AND back of the window. If I hadn't removed the flag from inside, I wouldn't have known about the second film.While the case itself came wrapped in bubble wrap inside of a cardboard box, there were some areas of damage in the wood. You can see them in my pictures. While some of them aren't that noticeable, the chip in the wood is a bit of an issue as it is clearly visible. I am going to take the case and get a match done so we can touch it up. These areas had to have been caused at the factory as there was no tears in the bubble wrap, the box was unblemished and the shipping box was well padded and not damaged at all.Overall, I am happy with the case. I like the fact that it comes with a flag included. It is solidly made and looks great on the shelf displaying that flag. The main reason for the 4 star review is the damage. If that hadn't occurred, this would be a solid 4.5 stars (5 if the window was real glass!).
