I am happy with this product. I saw comments when looking at purchasing that once used it will continue to go off randomly. What I found, as it happened to me as well, is that I was not fully pushing the clip back into the device. If you push it in all the way and hear a click, then it will not accidentally go off. If you do not hear the click then it is not securely fastened and will go off randomly.

This thing is so loud!! Plus it’s cute. It’s PINK!! I clip it on my handbag and I’m good to go-keep it handy ladies!! It’s lounder than the cheaper versions (I’ve tested) and I have three. One on my purse, one on my keys, and one on my lanyard for walking my dog. They were purchased in response to an incident while walking my (very old) dog and I didn’t even have my phone on me and so felt very helpless. Plus other people were kind of far away (at a park). This will get attention if you need it!! A bit pricier than other makers but worth it.

I bought several of these personal safety alarms for women of all ages for self-defense. I always carry one with me and have given some to several women and my son's friends. Although these do not guarantee complete safety, women still need to know how to stay safe in their communities. Nevertheless, this is a useful tool to have, as it is easy to use and emits a very loud sound.

This item was a gift to my neighbor. It is much louder in the house than outside. Seems to be a quality product. Although 4 stars, I would still recommend it. Will definitely promote peace of mind. For the money-pretty good product.

It does exactly what it says it will do. I absolutely feel like it would deter an animal which is what I mostly bought it for. Very loud and the flashing light would disorient an animal I believe. I especially love that it's so easy to set off, which is what you'd need if you're attacked. Perfect in an emergency. Size is just right. Not cumbersome at all not so small if drop it in a scuffle. I attached it to my pocket size mace spray which together I feel so much more protected! Especially at the price point of 20 bucks or less. Buy it!

Ich bin wirklich zufrieden mit diesem Abwehr-Alarm! Der Alarm ist extrem laut (habe ihn aus Neugier einmal getestet – beeindruckend!) und super einfach zu bedienen: Man zieht einfach an der Öse. Dabei muss man sich keine Sorgen machen, dass er versehentlich losgeht – das funktioniert zuverlässig.Praktisch finde ich auch das blinkende Licht, dann wird man hoffentlich einfacher im Dunkeln gesehen.Die rosa Farbe ist schön und passt perfekt zu meinem Schlüsselbund. Durch die kompakte Größe lässt er sich problemlos in meiner Jackentasche verstauen.Ein tolles Sicherheitsprodukt, das sich einfach bedienen lässt und dabei noch gut aussieht. Klare 5 Sterne!

Of course I had to try it and see how loud it was. I undoubtedly lost some hearing because this baby is crazy loud!! Super high-pitched. A bad guy is going to take off immediately because this thing draws a whole lot of attention.It is light in its weight. Pretty large and chunky to have on a keychain, at least not on a regular basis. I have mine in my purse in the outside easier to reach pocket. When I’m off car camping or something, I put it on a carabiner and attach it to my belt loop or something.

I love the compact size, lightweight, the color, and the very loud alarm with flashing lights. I feel much safer walking alone or with my new puppy with this is my pocket. It would definitely attract attention causing someone with bad intent to find an easier target.
