I always bought the straps with designs on them. I will not buy those again. This is great. It fits perfectly and is so comfortable. I bought another one for another guitar. I will recommend these to anyone.

I ordered this strap in Chestnut brown. While I like it, and I will say it's worth what I paid (30 bucks give or take), I do see why it's not getting consistent 5-star reviews. For starters, t's not as glossy as it looks in the picture provided by the manufacturere. It's much more matte, which is fine...to me it's just "different' and not "worse," but it depends on what you're looking for.The manufacturer describes this as "half-grain leather" which...what? There's top grain, full grain, split leather, and "genuine" - I know it's not top grain or full grain, so...?My guess is that this is basically "Genuine leather" on top but maybe with a split-leather / suede underside. What this actually means for the product is that it's comfortable and soft, it distributes the weight of the guitar well enough, and it's easy to adjust. Also: in my opinion FWIW it looks good.I do wonder how this is going to hold up over the years. PLaying guitar can be a hot sweaty business, and I feel strongly like this strap isn't going to be up to task. For bedroom practice, casual rehearsal, and low-key gigs, it's fine...I thin it depends on your needs. All in all: I think it's worth the price paid - which was about 30 bucks for me. It is *definitely* a big upgrade from the cheap vinyl strap that came with the squier your grandma bout you, but it's definitely not a secret diamond in the rough. It's quite good, that's all - manage your expectations.

This is a high gloss buttery leather with suede back ( to stay put.) Very attractive with the mahogany on my guitar.

Soft supple leather. Very comfortable. Good quality. I would buy again. I like the way it adjusts and like that there's no metal or plastic buckles to scratch the instrument.

The fact of the matter is I got leather, properly made, smelling like heaven, that originated on the continent I live on, that is perfectly cut, reinforced by stitching, DOUBLE reinforcement on the keyholes, and feels like it is made of CLOUDS on the shoulder. And to top it off, the brown color matches my rosewood fretboard!I know a lot of people say this strap is long, and I figure they just don't know how to adjust the tail piece. I am 6'3", heavily built, a little fat, and pulling the tail to the inner adjustment position and threading it through alternately until it is the bottom, I'm using the second bottom keyhole on the guitar, and this place it where I prefer: HIGH, with the upper part of the guitar just under my pectorals. I want to point out that this is NOT the shortest you can make it, as through threading you can pull at least another foot in. If you don't understand, find someone who saddles a horse regularly, and they can show you a DOZEN ways to do so comfortably. This sits on my Frankenstrat ('62 Fender Stratocaster clone in the SX VTG series, heavily modified) and takes the weight easily with no sag, but the feel across the shoulder is nothing compared to the nylon straps I've used used for ages that would start cutting in after a couple hours. The curing of the top leather is great, but the process used for the suede inner is godlike!Only thing I can add is that there are hundreds of other leather straps out there for 3-5x the price with leather from God knows where, and no clue if it is properly cured or if it will start shredding itself the next time you have a humid night. Perri's Leather treated me right, and my upcoming Les Paul and Ibanez 7-string will be getting one the day they come out of the box.Enjoy playing!
