We have POE wireless antennas out side, when it rains it destroys them by intruding either directly or by condensation water in the POE (RJ-45) network connector. By squirting a blob of this stuff into the female side of the connector before making the connection I've managed to keep all our antennas up. NICE.

Just needed a small amount of this lubricant to keep a replacement Frigidaire beverage dispenser bulb from rusting in the socket like the original bulb. The glass bulb twisted off the socket because it rusted in the threads. This is actually a really common occurrence. And it's particularly bad because of the awkward position of the socket in close proximity to water. Everytime you try to twist out the socket it would trigger the water to flow. So I unplugged the fridge, used a combination of needle nose pliers and a pen cap wrapped with black tape. I managed to disfigure the threaded insert enough with the needle nose that the pen cap would grab and twist out the socket of the bulb. Took probably an hour to do. I was about to call a repairman because the family uses the water dispenser constantly. And I didn't want a shock or a short ruining our 2 year old fridge.

It does the job, seals and prevents electrolytic corrosion, and it's cheap for what it accomplishes. I use it with screw base bulbs and the newer small pin type LEDs.I've used it for years and never found corrosion on threads, studs, or sockets where I used it, particularly in very hostile environments where exposure to moisture is present.

My recessed bulbs kept sticking when trying to take them out, and this caused the bulb to break off and get left in the socket. Hence I got this to prevent it.I put a little on the base, and screwed the bulb it, It worked fine.
