Worked well on dealing a 22 year old yard trucks windshield. Leak stopped. Defiantly leave out in the sun to warm up before usage. Comes out easier when warm as expected.

Applied easily and cured in less than 24 hours, even though temps were only in the 50-60 degree F range. Good product and faie price... Also appreciated Amazon's quick delivery.

Never used a coloured silicone sealant before but I had to seal off window and door frame that were black and this did a fantastic job. Make sure the nozzle his screwed tight as it came off during the job and was messy, I rescrewed the cap on and it never came off again, my mistake.Purchased another tube in April 2024 and it is so easy to apply. and work with I had to do an update.

This caulk is easy to use. It flows nice and is good to work with. Dries hard as a rock. It sticks to anything.

It probably did not stick because it was cold weather when I applied it. My roof still leaks

Permatex products are generally top of the line, and this is no exception. Was looking for something to seal my foundation vents in place as the set screws were constantly loosening and then the vents were falling out in higher winds. The black color was perfect for the black vents which allowed me to seal the top and make them somewhat watertight while not standing out against the bricks. Not sure what I will do when I need to replace the vents as they are indeed stuck like glue!!! Would you expect anything else from a Permatex product that is a silicone sealant???

I had a leaky sunroof (it's not draining properly and cleaning the channels repeatedly has done nothing) on my truck and have tried quite a few products already. But none of them could hold up to the Florida heat and weather, and would end up deteriorating and crumbling. I tried this product on the seal around the window and have had no leaking whatsoever. This stuff comes out like a thick black, tar-like caulking and is NOT easily cleaned from the hands or anything else you get it on, so be careful. You'll need gas or WD-40 (or something similar) to remove this stuff. Or just wear gloves, if you're messy like me. When it dries, though, it turns into a thick rubber-like seal that has elasticity and works extremely well; it is still holding up with no problems at all. Another bonus is that because it's a silicone seal, you can easily "peel" this stuff off if you ever want to remove it. Just pry up a part of the coating, and it'll all peel away in a big strip. And when I purchased this, it came as the product that is shown (with nozzle). There are also tubes of this product available, which I've used since and had no problems applying it.
