I had to remove the cam cradle on my Audi to pull the cams. This was recommended by Audi to use on reinstall. So I used it and it worked. Used on a 2005.5 Audi A4 2.0t B7

I used this as prescribed for a rear main seal on a 2003 Jeep TJ. After following instructions the permatex never set up. I had to take it back apart after a bad leak to find the sealant was gone, it never set up and basically there was not even residue of it left on the seal. I did a controlled test after finding this and let the product "set up" and after several days it was still not set up and basically liquid. Time, labor, permatex and both the oil pan gasket and seal had to be replaced twice.

Anyone using this knows specifically what it's for and you cannot go wrong with it, please be mindful of the technical Data sheets provided by permatex which advise on appropriate sized gaps this is engineered for, great sealant, hard to find in store so stock up!

Love this stuff. Used it to seal up an oil pan on a Duramax diesel. Worked like a champ. Also used it to seal the front cover on a mercury verado supercharger. Worked great for that as well. You just have to get past the PINK color.I highly recommend.

Used this along with the Permatex cleaner in the spray can ti seal a very badly leaking transmission on a 2012 Mini Cooper and it worked perfectly.

Forger RTV, this is the new kid in the block. Very user friendly, stays in a soft paste mode even if you leave it uncapped. You don't have to worry about residuals clogging up the oil galleys. Very clean, and gentle on the hands. And most importantly, it smells like strawberries...lol.
