The Perky-Pet Feeder Cleaning Mop is a no-scratch foam mop that cleans feeder bottles softly and efficiently. Remember to clean your feeder at least twice a week, more often in very warm climates or seasons. This mop should be used for hummingbird feeders and oriole bird feeders.

I had a sponge brush like this for years & had to replace it. This is absolutely the best to clean the glass hummingbird feeders. (The regular kind). Glad I fould it here for decent price. It will last a long time. Rise it & hang or prop up to dry.

I was really looking forward to having something to properly clean the feeder. While it did fall apart after one use, I managed to scrub two feeders as it was falling apart. if it was only about two to three dollars, it would be worth the overall price. I may have to end up buying it again though if I can't find something else more sturdy.

I have the wider mouthed hummingbird feeders and this works just perfect to clean out the feeder. Would highly recommend.

This cleaner was PERFECT for cleaning that hard to reach spot above the neck on my glass hummingbird feeders. After reading reviews about it falling apart easily, I made sure to be very gentle when inserting or removing the brush from the feeder and had no problems. It did scratch the inside of the glass as I cleaned, but again, was just very gentle.I soak my feeders in a vinegar/water mix for 5-10 minutes before cleaning so being gentle was enough to remove crud easily. What I didn't like was that the metal all around the foam was heavily rusted after only one use. If it hadn't rusted so incredibly quickly I would have given it 5 stars.

I have the traditional Perky Pet red bottle hummingbird feeder and sometimes a bit of black mold builds up on the side. I’ve tried so many bottle cleaners hoping to get the right one but none of them performed, I even bought an easier to clean hummingbird feeder but the hummers didn’t seem to like it. I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered it but it works!! I had to bend the handle to get the mold but the handle is very durable

I had looked a long time for a decent way to clean out the skinny-necked hummingbird feeders I keep. When I bought the Perky-Pet 23T, I hoped my dreams had come true. Imagine how my dreams crushed to the ground like bits of broken black-oil sunflower seed when on the second use -- the 23T fell apart, like clouds separating in the wind.I do give the item one star, since I used it successfully once. But the design is embarrassingly ill-configured: a metal hoop into which the spongy is just stuffed. Or at least that's what I could tell when the two pieces fell apart upon the second use. I hadn't jammed roughly, hadn't bashed or jumbled or crushed or any other harsh actions. On the second occasion -- I pulled the thing out after gently washing, and the sponge and the metal holder were in two unrelated places. Not to be totally negative, I plan on tying a piece of cotton onto the remaining metal "hook" and making do from there. Maybe I'll call it "rag on a stick." In truth, the 23-T isn't terribly expensive. But I will make sure I have clean hummer feeders.I remain a big Perky-Pet fan, and will continue ordering their feeders, which I truly think are excellent. But I'm afraid this particular product needs to go back to the drawing board.
