Took lights out of package and was soldering the wires when I noticed a crack in the plastic part holding the bulb. Checked the other one it was cracked too! I needed these lights for the summer so will have to wait until winter to remove them and send back to Perko for replacement.

Among more serious items missed by by SAMS marine surveyor in RI was that the wrong nav lights were installed.Replaced the cheap China lights with Perko. A little more expensive, but worth the extra cost!
