Something straight out of China “instructions”. Latch is excellent! Upon assembly, be sure to preset the stop. “Lightly” tighten set screw! If you over torque, you will damage the threads. Thus, when tightening the jam nut it will jam. I believe a split washer and a hex nut would be more applicable. Or, lube required.

Excellent replacement for my Jet boat. It fit perfectly into the hatch engine compartment lid, plus it locks. Also it was white like I wanted, the picture shows it as black. Thank you.
