At about 12 bucks at the time of this writing, this is about 6 dollars less than the next best deal I've found... IF you just want a 12 gauge trip alarm. There are some products that also include a 22 blank adaptor for around 25 bucks and that's very useful. The pictures of this product don't really do it justice. This did come with a key ring style loop at the end of the firing mechanism that makes pulling this to cock it a lot easier. Also, the firing pin stop is threaded so that you can control the depth of the firing pin strike. See the pic I uploaded. What I haven't figured out yet is, what is the smaller slot inside the slot for the 12 gauge brass fitting? It's too big for a 209 primer and too small for 9mm casing.Something else to consider... Shipping of this item is really slow. All in all, useful product to have on hand if you'd like some warning if your AO is being intruded upon.

The plunger pulled back easy enough, the pin was inserted, but the plunger never retracted which meant the pin served no purpose. If there was a trip wire set up and if it were tripped, the pin would fall out and the plunger would not move and therefore not fire.
