In time past Pentel 2B was just fine; somehow their lead bombed, lacking the soft and dark quality of 2B lead. Happily trying Pilot brand worked out to great advantage price-wise as well as great quality. Definitelywill purchase as needed!

Nice lead, or at least as nice as lead can be. It fits my mechanical pencils and writes well, can't ask for anymore than that.

Glad to find the 2B leads for my mechanical pencil. They write smoother/faster than the harder leads, and the marks are a little darker so easier to read.

I expected good pencil led and I recieved good pencil led. It has not broken as easily as the regular stuff.

These are great leads, my preferred brand for accounting work. However, way over priced for only 12 leads. Check around or buy higher quantities.
