These were great! Smooth, vibrant colors. We purchased them for my daughter and she loves them! They seem to be good thickness and easy to use! They glide across the paper for quick coloring and are for good size for holding.

My teen is a huge fan of arts and crafts, and this set of oil pastels has been a fantastic addition to their collection. Recently, they’ve been diving into drawing and painting, and these pastels offer a fun and creative way to explore another medium. The quality is excellent—no breaking or crumbling during use—and the colors are incredibly vibrant, making artwork really pop.The range of shades in the set provides plenty of variety for experimenting with different styles and techniques. It’s been a joy to see the unique creations they’ve made with these pastels. Highly recommended for anyone who loves art, whether beginner or advanced!

The pastels were shattered. I'm so disappointed. It was advertised as packaging damage. These are great products. After contacting Amazon they have given me a refund.I am thankful for this.

50 color oíl pastel for a good price. However, the quality it's not the greates. It will do a simple jobs or for students. I got this for a "médium size project" for an art in class and the oíl pastel were soft and have a variety of colors. The art came up okay. Some color you will have to press harder to see a better quality but overall a good price for the amount of colors and for kids.

Tested for: using it to decide if I want to work with 'medium of oil pastels' . All the crayons arrived intact- not 1 broken piece, all in its slots. The range of colours is good for starter pack. Abt. 3-4 tones for 1 colour. Vibrant shades , easy to blend and layer.tips-Some smell - not strong but a lingering odour. Warm in the hand momentarily if hardened.-can be used wet or dry on paper, board, glass, etc... Use a after coat for preservation. For a watercolour look, draw first, then add water to get resemblance to watercolour effect.- To sharpen, a sharp penknife or x-cato in a holder, plus a small sheet of fine sandpaper to shape a point.Enjoy colouring your world, Hope this helps ;-)

Originally i bought them for event that people of all ages could enjoy doing collaboration art. Children really enjoyed the vibrant colours and many just did on the go amazing master pieces. I never really used pastels myself, but its nice experience and i really enjoyed the range of the colours. I wwould love to see more basic coulours more than one in the pack such as skin colours and white for blending. On down side, its breaking easily especially then paper cover removed. Dont know if thats the mature of the pastel.I have bought several packages for children to use and i see good value. These pastels invite children to draw.

I Love these Oil Pastels and YOU WILL NOT find a better price anywhere then these ones for sale on Amazon!Especially for a Set of 50 that includes several shades of your Yellow, Blue & Red Primaries as well as your Secondary Greens, (Which I favor) Orange & Purples. It’s nice to have an array of Colors which makes it less difficult then if you had only a few and had to mix all the time. These are also very good Quality Pastels and easy for anyone to work with.As someone myself who is not very artistic, I like using this Medium as these Pastels don’t dry up real quick like Acrylic Paints which gives me time.I think Painting with Pastels is like a Marriage of Finger Painting and sculpting with Clay, I literally push Colors around with my Fingers where I want them and smear them to blend adding or taking away layers to fix my mistakes (I make a lot) and for effect. You can also use a Kneaded Eraser to pick up Colors and something I just Ordered on Amazon Tortillions to blend around edges as I personally am finding that my big fingers can’t get detailed areas with out pushing some adjacent colors I don’t want to shift.I also have found sketching what your going to paint first with a charcoal pencil makes it easier kind of like Coloring you can use the Kneaded Eraser to get your sketch right no worries you’ll cover it with these Oil Pastels, make sure to erase it anyways just leaving a light outline to cover or your pastel will mix with and smear the Charcoal.I think you will Love these Oil Pastels you will for sure continue buying I already bought 2 more after this Purchase! Here is my first Painting of a Sunflower and a Snowman I did next as Christmas Gift. You cac see my other Picture they came in a plastic tray which I left them in to keep organized, but I’ve cut in half to fit in my Easel Drawer.
