Bought this pump as an exact replacement for our pump that was making lots of noise. Install was easy as it was an exact replacement. When I turned it on though it leaked between the casing. We needed the pump so I couldn’t send it back and wait. I took the housing apart and this was the inside of the pump. It is obviously used. Probably returned because of the leak. I was able to get a new seal locally and made it all work. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE TO DO WHEN YOU BUY SOMETHING NEW.

Great pumps for the money. On Artesian well so they last a little longer if using a inline sediment filter. Use a combo of 1/2 Hp for house and 3/4 for yard with small pressure tanks a must.

The pressure switch that came with it was faulty, I had to purchase one separately so that I could complete the job.
