The oil instantly made my reels spin a little smoother. The grease is thick but not too thick, comes with a little brush on the lid, making it easier to apply.Small package, but should last a very long time. Only needs one drop of oil per bearing location and just enough grease to lube the gears up.

I fish a lot in salt and brackish water. This oil and lube by Penn is a reel saver. Trusted company and good product. the price is well worth it, especially if you care about your reels.

This is a nice set. The bottle, and particularly the tub of grease are both small but as you only need a small amount, they will probably last longer than the reel

The pictures make it look like you get a lot more than you do .5 oz it tiny read ad carefully before purchasing works fine other than that

The high quality grease is especially good for most open or 'round' reels. Some of the low-profile baitcasting reels and spinning reels can use a dab of the grease on the gears (check with the manufacturer). The oil is more specialized to open reels like a PENN reel or similar. Some of the new low-profile baitcasting reels and spinning reels use a different type of oil, some may be able to use this oil, again check with the manufacturer. Unless you work on reels constantly this should last you a long, long time.

The Grease comes in a 14.17g container, not a 28g container as written in the description. The oil has 14.8ml.
