ALL the complaints about this being to wide for the smoker (same with my IRONWOOD 885), and Traeger keeps releasing them. Thank god for a wood saw. I trimmed 3/4" and it now fits.

The shelf is sturdy and provides som great storage space for pellets, etc. contrary to some of the reviews I read prior to my purchase, I found the installation very easy and did it without assistance from another person. Time will tell about the durability.

I don't feel like taking my cover off to take a picture right now. But if you follow the directions it will fit. The only thing that they do not describe is you have to use some muscle to push the side flap back in where you remove the screws from. Easier with two people. When you first get it in there with the flap out it looks like its maybe 2 inches too long. Cuss at it a few times then use some muscle and have another person push that flap in while being ready to put the bolts back in.I didn't think it was going to fit either, but with a little persistence, it fit just fine and is very snug and not going anywhere. Im not a big reviewer, but if I get around to taking pictures i will post.

Love the way it looks and despite a couple reviews about poor fitment it fits the pro 575 great. Unfortunately the construction is a little poor. Out of the box multiple slats were broken off. Upon further inspection it looks like they stained all the boards first and then attempted to glue and nail everything together (some missing nails completely). While I can appreciate trying to weatherproof the whole thing. Unfortunately wood glue does not stick to stain, needs to be bare wood and then the entire piece stained/sealed after final assembly. So just be prepared with some wood glue and brad nails. Should I return it? Probably, but it took about five minutes to fix and still looks pretty snazzy on the grill. I expect a few move glue joints to pop at some point but it’s a simple fix. Either improve the quality or lower the price in my opinion.

It seems to be fairly sturdy, but for the Pro Series 22 you will need to trim it about 1/2 inch which affects the ease of installation and the value. If you don’t have the means to trim it yourself, it is worthless (installation) and if you spend $80 on a small bamboo shelf you expect it to fit the item specifically mentioned in the description (value).

Perfect fit, nice finish and looks good. My Traeger pellet bins fit under it perfect.

Great shelf, well constructed and easy to install. I think it will last a while as long as you have it covered most of the time.Couple of things to consider:1. It does have a little side to side play once installed. Not a big deal for me, just thought I'd point it out.2. If you keep your pellets in Traeger bins and have a Traeger Pro 780, the bins will not fit on the shelf under your grill. Again, not a big deal for me since I usually keep my pellets in the garage and have plenty of other accessories I can store on the shelf. All in all this is a solid addition to my grill and I would recommend it!

Finally got around to installing this traeger lower shelf for my model 34. It was super easy to install and fits great. The wood is also a really nice color. I like that it's sturdy enough to hold my pellet container when it's full. Definitely recommend. 5 stars all the way!
