Pelicans are great cases in general, this is a large case that fits my use for it. Very protective and trustworthy item.

I purchased this for my Celestron AVX mount head. I have not yet used this out in the field but here is an image of how my case looks with the foam pulled out from key places. The case is pretty snug, since I only went two foam layers deep and not three. I might pull the third layer too.

Pelican isn't the cheapest case protection out there but it is the best. Strong hinges,waterproof,very durable handle. You can throw this case around and it will hold together. I have several protecting hand guns and spotting scopes. I don't have to worry about whats inside of the case having enough protection. Quality at its BEST.

My husband attached this to his tw200 and is using it as a top case. We have had it for awhile now. It has been great. No leaks and very durable. He says it is awesome and was worth the money. If we buy me a tw200, we will be purchasing another one. We recommended to our friend for his tw200 and he bought one and loves it too.

I ordered this case as a lockable, portable, protective case for a faire arm I recently perchased and all of its gadgets and tools. The case is awesome. I do kind of wish that there was an option for the solid layers of foam but the cubed foam layers work well. for info the foam is in .5 X.5 X 2 inch sections so cubed is not quite accurate, and also realize that there is a solid foam "frame" around each layer that is about 1" all the way around and take that into consideration when looking at the dimensions. As far as the construction of the case, I have used many pelican products for many different reasons and have never had any issues with them and this case is no exception. It is water and air sealed(except for the automatic pressure valve for when there is a significant change in air pressure i.e. Elevation) and is made from a very durrable material with good craftsmanship. I would recomend these cases to anyone wishing to protect valuable items from the elements and the abuse of travel or shipping.
