The gift recipient loved this! It was a fun way to keep toothpicks accessible. When you fill it up, the lined-up toothpicks makes it look like the whale is smiling! It takes a couple of shakes to shake one loose, but that is to be expected and it's better than a whole bunch falling out at once!

Very cute and holds toothpicks. It is a bit annoying to reload the toothpicks and it is a pick finicky to get the toothpicks out.

I enjoy adding some whimsy and fun to boring kitchen items. Toothpicks aren't a thing you often think about, but are good to have on hand for different tasks or crafts. So, why not put them in a cute container? This is easy to fill, but I was worried I would break it the first time I pulled it apart. The material it is made of is a bit lighter than I hoped, so it feels a bit too easy to fumble or break. I'm not sure how study it will be long term, but we don't go through toothpicks very quickly. I wish the plastic was a thicker or a heavier gauge.

I'm not sure it's worth the price. If you don't have it full then the toothpicks lean and then you don't have that cute little look anymore. Plus, it's kind of hard to get one out--there's usually 2 trying to get out and you can pull 2 out, it's just not as smooth as I would like it to be as far as getting one out at a time. It's whimsical, though, so there's that.
