PegPro – We Couldn’t Find The Perfect Pegboard Hooks, So We Invented Them!
We’ve been using pegboard hooks to organize and protect the tools in our factory for years. Still, we were incredibly frustrated with the metal and plastic designs that were available. They were wobbly and floppy and would fall out of the board when taking tools down. They were warped, poorly manufactured and even damaged and scratched our pegboards, tools, and equipment. Rather than live with this ongoing frustration, we designed and manufactured our own.

These lightweight hooks are made of strong, reinforced, engineering-grade polymers that protect your tools and pegboard. Simply push them into the board and lock them into the grommet installed below. When you hear two snaps, you can be confident that the hook is secure. If you want to reorganize, just unsnap, relocate the grommet, and snap in elsewhere. It couldn’t be easier. These hooks are functional, not just for display, so you can be sure of the perfect fit.
Our J-shaped hooks can handle 40 lbs of weight. The straight 1” hooks can hold 10 lbs, and the straight 2” hooks can hold 6 lbs. They also have a fail-safe mechanism to protect your pegboard if overloaded. If you start to hang too much weight, the hook will bend slightly. If you continue overloading the hook, it is engineered to break before your pegboard rips.

Depending on what you are going to be using these for they are not the strongest of products, so don't expect to hang anything too heavy on them.

I do a lot of transporting racks for vendor markets. When we scaled up I tried to swap from these hooks to another plastic brand that was half the price. Well, they started snapping and breaking. Back to the Greenleaf pegs. They look great, stay in place, and best of all, they're extremely sturdy.

I do craft shows and I have portable pegboard display cases that get a lot of use. I bought these j hooks because they lock in, the profile doesn't stick out much and I can merchandise my cases, keep everything the the case and close it and transport and store with everything in it and the pegs won't fall out. These pegs are pretty expensive so if you need alot of them as I do, it gets pricey.I semi regularly need to remove the hooks and rearrange them in my cases depending on how I switch out merchandise. The problem is the grommets will end up breaking after they are removed a half dozen times. And my biggest issue is you can not just buy the replacement grommets. The pegs come with small and large grommets but I can only use the large ones because the small ones don't fit in securely in my pegboard holes. They only give you enough grommets for the number of hooks you have, no extras. So if your grommet breaks, if you lose one, you have no way to secure your hook anymore, which defeats the purpose of buying these if you cant snap them in.I tried emailing them to ask to get more and their email bounced. I tried contacting through their website contact for and got no response. I tried contacting again through their website contact form and did get a response and they send me out more complimentary grommets, which was super nice to do as I was more than willing to pay for them.These grommets seem that they might be proprietary to these hooks so they really need to make it possible to buy extras. I can't be buying a whole new bag of hooks just to get the grommets. That's really my biggest pet peeve with these is them not selling the grommets separately. I do love these hooks and will continue to buy them and recommend them but please sell the grommets too for when you need to replace them!

Very sturdy heavy-duty plastic hooks with an amazing snap that makes sure the hooks absolutely do NOT move once in place. In fact, you should be really sure they are where you want them because they are nearly impossible to get out once they are in. But that is great news for my portable jewelry cases that I take to events. I don't have to worry about the hooks coming loose in transport or when someone tries to remove a piece of jewelry. These can be very difficult to get in, they require a lot of thumb and finger strength so be aware. Still, I ordered more because the snap-tite system is amazing.

The hooks seem well made and they slip into my wall control board great. Definitely need to use the black anchors though or they wiggle a ton. Some of the longer ones feel like they might not support very heavy things but I haven’t tested that yet.My issue, and the reason I removed a star, is that I did not receive the mix of colors as described. Instead of receiving some of every style in every color (as stated by the seller in the Questions section and as shown in the product picture), I received all the colors and all the styles but each color only came in 1 style. Except the white… I got 2 styles in white… which is fairly disappointing to be honest.I’m pretty sad about this but I’ll just have to make it work. I’ll update later if I find any structural issues with these hooks.Here’s what I got…Breakdown by style:24 J Hooks: 11 white, 13 purple24 1” Pegs: 10 blue, 14 white24 2” Pegs: 13 green, 11 pinkBreakdown by color:25 white: J hooks & 1” pegs13 green: 2” pegs13 purple: J hooks11 pink: 2” pegs10 blue: 1” pegsAt least I got all 72 total hooks.Update: I will be returning this set.So it turns out that the only hook of the 3 styles that will hold my pots and pans on my pegboard without bending and giving a bit, is the J Hooks. And since I only got J Hooks in purple and white, this is incredibly disappointing.The 24 J Hooks in the package would be more than enough to meet my needs and I’d absolutely keep this set and maybe even give it 5 stars if I had received all 5 colors in each style of peg. But I had no intention of using the white pegs at all (I bought a color mix for a reason) and of the other 4 colors purple is my least favorite. So no, these will be going back.I really wish this company would offer the confetti mix color set in a single style of hook because I’d absolutely buy that.These pegs do hook into the peg board very nicely and the J hooks support my heavy pots and pans fabulously.But the straight pegs apparently aren’t made for heavy things and the color mix is just incredibly disappointing.Because of these things I’ve dropped my rating down to 3 stars.
