The Beginning
In 2010, Writey Co. was founded by college students that could never find any thinking space to study on campus for their courses. The classrooms were locked and the library whiteboard was always occupied. Whiteboards weren't just needed in the classroom, they are essential outside of it. An alternative was needed. Out of a garage in Los Angeles, California, with a little tinkering from a vinyl manufacturer, the peel and stick whiteboard was created and the Writey Company was born.

Failing to find the size I wanted, this sounded like an answer. Due to the lack of frame , I cut it to the size I wanted and it worked great. Neat idea to move it with you but highly unlikely due to the size and a near impossibility of reapplying the plastic backing. Luckily, I don’t plan on moving it. Comes with a pen with a cap eraser, don’t remember reading that in the description. Also be ready to lay it flat with the corners/edges weighted. It says a few hours, I waited almost twenty four and still had a curling problem. Full size would definitely require help. Fabulous idea and works great!

This product works well, but I recommend cleaning the wall before trying to apply it. It doesnt stick well on a dusty wall. Also dont apply to a wall you care about. I've used two of these whiteboards and both took paint off the wall. They warn you about this but you cant make a guarantee. So while restickable it doesnt prove reliable to not damage a wall. Its not really useful to transport as much as its more slim to keep in your room than a regular whiteboard.

Not often do I do five stars and especially this quickly but this thing is amazing. Took it out of the tube, unrolled it and stick it on the wall and just been there since.I have shown it to a couple of people that come into the office and actually pulled part of it off and stick it right back up.They are pretty amazed and so am I. Don't know how it works just glad it does.I am buying more.

Amazing! I just put it on my desk at the office and can't stop doodling :) Combined with very fine dry erase markers this is the best thinking tool ever! Very smooth, pleasant to write on, easy to wipe. It's a out 1mm thick and it's easy to apply without bubbles and just stays very flat, tiny irregularities of surface under it don't matter.

When they moved my department to a different floor, they took away our personal whiteboards. This floor is very strict on what we can have showing at our desks. This is perfect! I put flat on my desk and when I need to work out a problem I don’t have to waste paper!

My team and I presented a pitch utilizing this Writeyboard and the client loved how we unfurled it, stuck it to their conference room wall [it was a well funded startup and they hadn't gotten their offices whiteboard game going yet, so they were thrilled by our ingenuity and versatility]. The multimedia presentation went amazing and the brainstorming on the "Re-Stickable" Writeyboard was on point. It looked like we were going to close the deal, but as we were wrapping up one of my team members attempted to remove the Writeyboard from the orange wall it was affixed to. In hindsight we should have just left it with them as a "parting gift" because when she removed the Writeyboard it peeled a two-foot patch of paint off the wall. We apologized and offered to handle the repairs, but they demurred and we never heard from them again...Nearly a $100K deal torpedoed by the Writeyboard.

Meh. I laid it out for 36 hours. I cleaned the painted wall. It keeps coming up from the wall. When you have stuff written on it with dry erase marker, you inadvertently rub everything off everytime I try to reattach it. I think I’ll have to do something different. It does make it smoother than the thinner dry erase rolls, and it is great that it can stick to most surfaces. I think for short-term use and portability this would work.

This is a great product! it comes complete with two layers the dry erase top and a soft foam backing which makes it better to write on when its stuck to any surface. It can also be picked up and moved when desired.
