I purchased a second one because my son loves it so much. He's been wearing his shark hat for several years now. The first one is still in excellent condition and has succeeded us, but it is more of a backup, and his dressier is cleaner. The boys love it, and it looks fantastic with blue eyes!

It’s cute, but really designed for an older kid. This hat was designed for look and style, not functional for a baby from 6-9 months so far. Our son’s head was a little small for it at first, but even now that his head is the right size for the hat dimensions, this hat does not stay in place. Anytime he turns his head in the stroller or carrier, the hat shifts down into his eyes or sideways on his head and the brim gets stuck against other fabrics. The flat brim will not bend easily to change the shape, so unfortunately he doesn’t get as much shade on the sides of his face either. The Velcro also jabs me in the neck whenever it’s on him and he’s in the baby carrier.We brought another ball cap for him with an equally cute design on Amazon that fits his head much better, even when it was too big for him it stayed in place by tightening the Velcro. I would wait to buy this hat when baby is at least 12 months old.

My son is 6 years old and he loves his hat. Had gotten it for him for field day at his school and now he wears it every chance he gets.
