There are lots of features and a lot of instructions. I just wanted the clock to be set and be able to count steps. To set the setp counter press and hold MODE for three seconds until the little person is blinking. To clear your total steps, press and hold CLEAR for two seconds. You have to attached the wrist band if you want to wear it on your wrist. I am a big person and the band fits into the last possible notch. You also have the option to not use the band an clip it to your belt. It also comes with an extra battery and a mini screwdriver to access the battery compartment.

This is a really nice watch. There is some assemble required if you want the band attached. There is also a clip to place on your belt. I was having a hard time getting the pin in the face of the watch but didn't realize there was alittle piece to push in. The watch has some weight and make it seems to be durable.

I ordered this Champower brand pedometer to track my steps throughout the day and when taking long walks. This pedometer has a lot of extra features, but I'm primarily interested in a simple step counter. I like that this comes with a wristband and a waist clip. I prefer the waist clip. I tested the pedometer's accuracy by counting my steps in my head while walking and checking the pedometer display. This device is very accurate. It's nice that it includes a spare battery. One negative is that the instructions were printed very small and were hard to read even with magnification.Overall, this multi-function pedometer does what I need and a lot more. I love that it has a big, clear display with the current time and the total number of steps. I gladly recommend this pedometer.

My octagenarian parent makes an effort to walk 10000 steps everyday. Often he gets to 5000 plus and rarely 10000. But this watch motivates him. He thinks it is pretty accurate. More important he does not need to charge it frequently or mess around with syncing the watch.
