Works fine, but even in concentrate form it's too clear in color. I can see it in the reservoir, but a darker pink hue would help a bit. Good value with that one nitpick.

Coolant types are complicated.... You should not mix HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) and OAT (Organic Acid Technology) coolants. Doing so can contaminate your cooling system, and overheating, corrosion, water pump damage. In extreme cases, the mixture can turn into a gel that blocks the system.Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) Coolant was pretty much the original type of coolant and is still used in older vehicles. It lasts around 30,000 miles before it turns too acidic and needs to be changed. Organic Acid Technology (OAT) Coolant uses additives to increase its lifespan significantly — up to around 150,000 miles. Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) Coolant is a hybrid of the two. There isn't a "universal" coolant - yes there's POAT, SOAT .... someday maybe a GOAT....But for most people, they are dependent on their mechanic or oil changers and use the correct coolant type for your specific vehicle and year(!) Coolant types changed by vehicle year.

I had ordered this to do a heater core flush before it got too cold and then went to AutoZone to grab some in person as it was arriving a day too late (for weather not due to amazon) and was charger $43 for two premixed cause they didn't have any concentrate of the pink g12 type I needed and then when I was working on my car Amazon arrives with my $24 bottle of concentrate and was able to return the other rip off bottles and get two gallons for $24 with just mixing in distilled water. Thanks!

I have a VW and needed some fluid for a flush. This was the ticket and specific to German cars. Got to keep up on that maintenance to keep them running. Being a concentrate, I purchased distilled water to avoid using tap water, who knows what the city puts in it???Take care of your car and your car will take care of you.
