This peak flow meter is exactly as in the product description. It is easy to use and clean. When paired with the app, it is easy to monitor trends in your lung function. It helps me to remember and double check that I have my inhaler with me.Overall, great value for the money, easy to use, and works just as expected.

The instructions as well as the FAQ are riddled with typos. If it were not a medically related product, that may not be a red flag however given that it is a tool to monitor lung function it is worthy of consideration on credibility. The corresponding app and the parameters set are not good. For the app, it does not chart 3 months or all months to get a gauge of peak flow results which is a primary purpose- to assess lung function declines and improvements. The parameters are grossly inaccurate. The parameters are supposedly set based on weight, age and sex to establish green, yellow and red zones. What this product would still consider to be a green zone would be ER territory. I acknowledge norms vary, especially for those with lung issues, however they do not even base it on your personal norms. Further, I question the accuracy of the device itself. I would in no way recommend this device.

I was worried about my lungs after getting several chest tightness episodes over the last couple years. At first I kept getting 3.0 and 3.2. After realizing my teeth were effecting the results and need to be outside the mouth piece I get solid 3.5 to 3.8. I should be getting 80% or better of 4.1/4.2. The peak flow is not correct at all. I have a mechanical one that shows 600-650 this machine shows 400. I had several people my age and size and gender test on it to verify the FEV.

Meter works fine although makes tons of loud beeps that make me want to return it. Can’t cover volume or lower it. Very disappointed that it seems that the only smart feature it has is an app where you do and MANUALLY enter each blow you do??? Who has time for that crap. I may get the new aluna from my doctor instead.

So this is the peak flow meter I received. And I have connected this device to my iPhone now. The application works perfectly with this device. I can see my data on my phone and sync the data to the diary page and form chart. This would be great if you need to check your lung function regularly.

The app will not allow me to make a password. No phone number to contact support for the app

This device would be absolutely perfect if the software integrated with the Apple Health app.Presently, I manually add Peak Flow and FV1 readings into Apple Health, but connectivity would make life so much easier as I become forgetful in my old age. 😀
