I needed something to attach my GoPro to in order to film hands free without covering my head or chest and this fits perfectly on my Peak Capture which goes on my backpack strap. Excellent design, very modular and works with more than just my GoPro.

Keeps GoPro secure but only works on thin belts or thong backpack straps. I usually end up securing to the pad that comes included and use the pad on a sternum strap rather than the full backpack sleeve

I used this for go pro and it works well. Some thicker shoulder straps on the larger backpacks the peak design capture clip doesn't fit with the extended bolts even, but for the lighter ones or the wast belt it works great. Just trying to figure out ways to carry the go pro with easy access and this is definitely one way.

I really want to like the Peak Design Capture Clip system, but am finding that the components are frustratingly close to being really good, but each fail to really deliver one way or another.For the P.O.V kit, the use of so much cheap plastic really lets this kit down big time. The first kit that arrived had a stripped thread in one of the nuts and before I realized what was happening, I heard a crunch because the plastic broke. The replacement kit has no stripped thread issues, but I'm hesitant to tighten the bolts very tightly as I don't want to break the plastic. A better grade of plastic might help, but I really am bewildered why they didn't make the parts for this kit out of the same aluminum used for the Capture Clip itself, which is nicely finished and has a nice quality feel to it, overall.The design Peak Design came up with to have 2 pivot points for the GoPro instead of using some sort of simple ball head setup is very fiddly and slow to adjust.The other issue I have with the P.O.V kit is the need to have a set screw to stop the kit from wobbling in the Capture Clip. In my opinion, this is a fatal flaw in the Capture Clip itself as the regular plate that is included with the Capture Clip also wobbles and doesn't have a set screw to help prevent the wobble.In contrast, the similar PGYTECH Beetle has absolutely no wobble when the plate or their GoPro mount (which is aluminum and has a much nicer design for adjusting the position of the GoPro) are attached to it. The PGYTECH Beetle uses plastic for the back side of the clip which is a potential weak point that could fail at an inopportune time, so it is not perfect either.Finally, none of these clip designs I have tried so far will work universally with any Arca Swiss style plate and generally do not have compatible designs. So the Peak Design accessories don't work with the PGYTECH Beetle clip and vice versa. I would love to find a product that has the all aluminum design of the Peak Design Capture Clip, the all aluminum design of the PGYTECH GoPro mount, and the rock solid grip of the PGYTECH mount system to prevent any wobble without the need for a set screw.In my opinion, the negatives of the all plastic design of the P.O.V kit and the need for a set screw to prevent wobble are far bigger negatives than the use of plastic on the back of the PGYTECH clip and I wouldn't recommend the Peak Design solution.

I lost the version 2 POV kit during our most recent trip. This version 3 kit actually fits with the old capture clip version 2. This POV kit is much secured due the new integrated twist lock. The version 2 only locked into the clip; this version 3 not just locked into the clip, but it also secured it with the twist lock.

Worked well with a hero 7 black.Very solid and works well with other peak design base holders. I used it both on a backpack strap and I piped it into my peak design tripod which was very convenient.Even with the hero 7 blacks stabilization when mounted to a backpack strap the video does bounce but with a gimbal I’d imagine it would be very smooth.Where I found it shined was on the backpack strap while riding a motorcycle, it’s of course going to be off center but it adjusts easily side to side and up down to give you the framing you want.Very happy with it and will continue to bring it on vacations and backpacking trips.

I bought this item for use with my GoPro camera and it works great. I am able to use the POV kit along with the Capture Clip and hook it to my backpack or belt or any other item. It works great when hiking or with any other outdoor activity. :)

PeakDesignのベース部分はデジタル一眼用として既に持っていたのですが、今回はGoPro HERO7をザックに付けたいと考え、当キットを買い足ししました。このシリーズは価格的に少々高いですが、Amazonで見かけるクリップ式やベルト固定式といった中韓製とは比べものにならないクオリティだと思います。最も素晴らしいのは、左右横方向への調節が可能であることと、金属製による剛性感から来る信頼性でしょうか。ベース部分とブラケットとの着脱もワンタッチで容易です。赤いノブはロックを兼ねており、押さないと外せないことから、海外等でも不用意に盗まれにくくなっています。クリップ式のように外力で外れてしまうことも無いと思います。また、三脚ネジ穴用のブラケットも付属していますので、GoProだけでなく、一般のコンパクトデジカメも装着可能です。ということで、価格面をクリアできるのであれば絶対にお薦めします。

Bought this unsure if it was compatible with the newest version of the capture clip (V3) as some sites mention an older version (V1)and newer version of the POV kit (V2) and this description did not state which it was.Turns out it IS the newer version and works perfectly with my V3 capture plate. Built very nicely, easy to adjust go pro, works like a charm. Would give 4.5 stars because of the price being a little high for my liking but I can understand that premium brands carry a premium price for a reason so i can’t really complain. Overall would recommend, very happy with this purchase

Ich kann meinem Vorredner nicht zu 100% zustimmen - ja, für knapp 35€ könnte man erwarten das die Schnellwechselplatte auf Metal ist, aber ich denke Peak Design hat sich hier aus gutem Grund dagegen entschieden. Jedenfall ist die Platte aus einem hochwertigen Kunststoff gefertigt, da daher denke ich das sie lange halten wird.Ich habe mir das Set hauptsächlich geholt um einfache meine DJI Osmo Action am Rücksack zu befestigen und diese, schnellstmöglich auch auf ein Static etc. zu packen. Mit Hilfe der Haltung und den Schrauben kann man recht fix die Kamera lösen und wo anders drauf packen. Zusätzlich liefert Peak Design noch einen Schlüsselanhänger in Form eines Multitools aus: Flaschenöffner, passender Imbus für 1/4 Zoll Gewinde, zwei Löchern um die mitgelieferten Schrauben bei Bedarf festzuziehen und auf der Rückseite der Löcher zwei Einbuchtungen um die gängigen Schrauben für die Halterungen festzuziehen.Habs heute auf nem Spaziergang auch mal ausprobiert - hält ohne Probleme und ist genau das was ich gesucht habe!
