The Slide Lite was still too bulky (thick and wide). The Leash more suited to what I want in a strap while assuring me it is still heavy duty. I originally went with the navy blue but I enjoy the silver/gray color on my camera much better. I have yet to get the hang of the strap adjustment system on the Leash, otherwise I love this strap.

I have been looking for a camera strap and never really bought in to the hype of peak design. I took a leap of faith and tried this one. Now I understand the hype. The quality is as expected and the convenience with the fast clip on two cameras is way more appreciated than I initially thought. The only downside is that the original strap that comes with the camera use to be good enough. After trying the peak design strap the original strap pales in comparison.

This is the best camera strap I have ever tried and is an immediate recommendation from me. Firstly, this camera strap is small and made from quality material. The strap is most similar to that of a car seat belt but because of it's compact design, it is surprisingly very comfortable to wear. The strap also has loops on the sides to easily adjust the height of the strap which is much better than the regular stock straps your camera comes with. Secondly, this strap has what Peak Design calls their "Anchor Link System" and it is an absolute game changer. They are quick release straps that enable you to easily take off the strap for easy storage or use while taking pictures. The main issue with regular straps is that the tend to get in the way when you want to take a portrait shot with your camera but with this strap, you can easily detach the anchor and easily attach it later. They even include 2 more anchors and another item to screw into the bottom of the camera to attach another anchor point so you can wear the camera across the body (which is my preferred way to wear this strap). Lastly, this strap has made me want to take my camera out more often. It's great design, quick release, and the portability make this strap truly a must have item. Just buy it!

these are very reliable straps! I mean, quite a hefty price but I guess you pay for the quality!

Taking off a star for a little bit of false advertising... The description claims these have "new thin anchor cords" that fit through more camera eyelets. And if you look at the pictures, they look pretty thin. And I looked very carefully at these pictures to see if the loops on these anchors would fit through the eyelets on my RX100 vii. From comparing what the V3 anchors and the V4 anchors look like... I suspect that these pictures that I based my purchase off of are the V3 anchors that have been replaced by the new V4 anchors that are no longer thin. I absolutely couldn't get these loops through my camera anchors... until I found a youtube video where this guy (Hart and Col) uses dental floss looped through the anchor loop, wraps the dental floss around the handle off a tool (I used a toothbrush), and then tugs the loop through using the dental floss. Worked like a charm. Now if I could just get the two hours of my life I spent messing with this back! (I tried to fit a metal loop over the eyelet to attach to that instead, but it wouldn't work because the eyelets on the RX100 are recessed)

I purchased this because I have young kids and primarily use my phone to take pictures of them. Parents all know that you need your hands free at the drop of a second. My wife makes fun of me because she thinks it's silly but I still rock it. With cell phones ranging upwards of $1500, I really didn't want to lose or drop it, especially on a boat. When the kids insist on using my phone to take a picture, it also helps to have it secured around their neck. The leash is well designed and very comfortable. Long enough that I can wear it in front, side or under a jacket. When I first got the item, I was disappointed at the anchor wires because they were too thick to work with my phone case. After researching a bit, I found that these are version 4's. It looks like the previous versions after wear and tear had a tendency to break depending on where it was being anchored to. Some metal anchor points on cameras could be unfinished and sharp which after some time of rubbing, they would fail.I emailed their support and found that the pervious V3 versions were thinner so I purchased a set from them and they work wonderfully. It does not bulge when I put my phone in the case and feels secure. Keep in mind that I'm using a silicon/rubber case. I couldn't be happier and this would be my go to for traveling in the future.I also bought an additional phone case. For my day to day, I would use the case without the anchors and when needed, I'd just switch the case. That was much easier than to take the anchors out every time. I didn't like the anchors dangling if I wasn't using the leash. There are other brands of lanyards and leashes, but I felt the most secure with this one. The beauty of it is that I can just about use it on anything now that I have plenty of anchors.
