Decent Sounds
Packed with 592 Drum/Percussion/Effects sounds arranging into 30 preset kits - each created by the professional sound design team, covering a range of styles and genres like Rock, Classic, Affican etc,. Also have 20 user kits and 8 loop MIDI.
Bouncy and Dynamic
Right bounce feel, not too soft nor too tough. Adjustable velocity-sensitivity enables expressive and dynamic performance over sound. Nine LED indicators which will shine accompanying with every striking to the pad are nice for the dark clubs and venues.
LED Display
The pad has a straightforward panel design and a high-definition backlit LED display. View mode selection, parameter changes and other functions in real time to get instant visual feedback for your setup.
Load Your Own Samples
You can import your own samples via USB stick directly, simple and convenient to operate it.
After importing, these samples have been saved into PD705 Pad, so the chip can handle them immediately, you don't have to wait minutes for the pad to read the external datas when you use user kits.

- TRIG1/2 and TRIG3/4 inputs support to connect with extra trigger pads (2.5" rubber kick drum, single or dual trigger drum pad, single trigger cymbal).

The box arrived in a sealed plastic wrapper as one might expect with a new product, but when I removed the wrapper and opened the box, the unit had marks on it as if someone with drumsticks had played it and missed the pads. My purchase was for a new one. Nevertheless, I plugged it in, turned it on, and started reading the manual (which wasn't in new condition either by the way). I figured, if everything worked as advertised, I might be inclined to overlook the non-newness of the device and save myself the hassle of returning it. Unfortunately, one of the pads stopped working shortly after I started tapping on it. I reached out to the manufacturer, but received no response, so I returned it. I found the software buggy, the interface counter-intuitive, and the manual in-comprehendible. The application for loading new sounds that I downloaded from the manufacturer's website did not work either. Too bad.

This sampling pad far exceeded my expectations in many ways. It is built well and has a lot of creative and excellent features. I actually would grade this a five out of five stars for the unit itself. However, the software aspect is a little lacking. There are no clear instructions and unless you’ve had another device like this, it will be difficult for you to navigate through on your first time. Unlike the software, the sampling pad itself is very intuitive.Ultimately, this is great value for what you get and it seems to be working great after several weeks of playing. I strongly recommend to get a stand for this unit.

Good sounds (to my ears) good response from the pads. A lot of fun and works better than some more well known brand name Pads I have tried (haven't had any annoying crosstalk problems that I have encountered with other pads) I would say well worth the money,

I can't speak to the quality of the on-board sounds. I'm exclusively using my PD-705 to trigger drum plugins such as GetGoodDrums and Addictive Drums 2 on my computer (and you should too!) To that end this unit has been perfect for my needs. Even at low threshold settings I'm getting zero crosstalk between pads. The sensitivity setting offers a lot of flexibility and it didn't take long to get things feeling good. The Log/Exp velocity curves and two-voice layering gives a lot of control over dynamics without even having to touch the plugins' settings. It also works perfectly with my Roland KT-10 kick trigger.My goal was to make a compact "Closet E-Kit" that I could use in my home studio without bothering anyone outside. I paired my PD-705 with a Zildjian L80 Low Volume Hi Hat (going into my headphones via SM57) and I'm blown away at how capable this little setup is. Gotta do fills with T-Rex arms (lol) but the foot positions are like a real kit and it's surprisingly addictive to jam on. Highly recommended if you don't want to go the full e-kit route but still want something that feels good to play. I plan to expand mine with a mesh snare and maybe a couple cymbal pads, but I've been using it like this for two weeks now and could keep it as is. There's enough pads for everything I need in my typical kit setup (snare, two toms, two crashes, ride, bell, snare rim). Hopefully it has the same durability as bigger brands. I will update the review if things start wearing out sooner than expected. But for now I couldn't be happier.

Con buenos samples queda funcionando de lujo, solo que al principio se batalla para meterle más samples, pero con los videos que hay en YouTube se entiende.

I previously had an Alesis sample pad pro and I can confidently say that this thing works better than the sample pad. The top bar triggers are much more accurate than the ones found on the Alesis Sample pad. I do not get any cross triggering on this pad the way I sometimes did with my Alesis pad. The usb midi is decent enough. I do get some latency when using this on garageband, but I'm sure that can be fixed by tweaking some settings within garageband

Solid build. Tons of sounds built in. No issues with crosstalk so far. I don't think you can beat this for the price. The negative. The menu is confusing. The manual is short. Considering the interface is so confusing the manual could should be more explanatory. I am still struggling a bit in the setup. However I do have 1 kit close to where I want it. The Alesis mount fits it perfectly, and it comes with the correct screws to connect it to the drum pad. I also bought the Gibraltar stand for it. It is very solid and the drum pads don't move at all.
