Price is for 25-PACK. Dual-Row 0.1" 2.54mm Socket, IDC, 40 Position, Polarized IDC Flat Ribbon crimp Connectors. These connectors mate with any standard 0.1" spaced dual-row pin headers. The insulation displacement (IDC) contacts on these connectors allow them to be quickly and easily crimped onto flat ribbon cable. These are female sockets designed to connect to male pin headers. These connectors have a polarizing tab in the middle to ensure correct orientation when used with a shrouded header ("box header"). After the cheap Uxcell 34 pin connectors, I was pleasantly surprised to find the pieces of these 40 pin connectors not already clamped together and the two parts neatly separated into two halves of a box. That's most likely why they were unclamped. The plastic is also sturdy.

The connectors come already fastened together. Do yourself a favor and get an Exacto Knife to separate the notch to pull it apart. But if you're willing to put in the extra work, then the quality is there. Just bad packaging concept...

Junk broken parts, Clips are inserted on one side, making impossible to take off the retaining bracket. Don't waste you money, they are cheap for a reason. Not recommended.
